Amazing optics and quality. Love the illuminated reticle anx zero stop.

The Nightforce scopes, known for their high-quality glass and durability, are a top pick for my long-range shooting needs. With the ability to spot bullet impacts at 1,200 yards on a clear day, this scope exceeds expectations. The illuminated reticle is also a great feature for low-light shooting. Out of the three Nightforce scopes I own, the ATACR 5-25x56 F1 is my go-to for rapid target acquisition at medium to long ranges. The larger 34mm tube and advanced features make it worth the extra cost, however, the NXS is still a fantastic option for long-range shooting. Both scopes deliver exceptional performance but the ATACR sets the bar even higher.

I purchased the Nightforce scope due to its reputation for exceptional glass quality and durability. I needed a scope with clear optics, reliable range finding capabilities, and an easily readable reticle for my upcoming shooting classes. The ability to identify targets at long range was a top priority for me, and this scope delivers on that front. With a long history of using Nightforce products, I have never been disappointed. This scope offers a great balance between quality and price, providing more value than its cost would suggest.

At 55 years old, I was concerned about my eyesight and the ability to see the tremor 3 reticle in the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 F1. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the reticle is small yet very readable even at the lowest magnification of 5X. I typically shoot targets less than 100 yards at 5X, so the grid does not affect my shooting. The glass and speed of this scope, once you get used to the tremor 3 grid, are amazing. I highly recommend adding the Nightforce Angle Degree Indicator, the Accuracy 1st scope level, and the LaRue Tactical LTM 845 QD scope mount to enhance your experience. I have this scope mounted on a Ruger Precision 6.5 creedmoor with a long range rifles inc match barrel and upgrades, and it shoots fast and accurately on target plates out to 1,500 yards.

NightForce ATACR 5-25x56mm MOAR F1 ZeroStop Riflescope

This scope is truly impressive. It has great light transmission and offers exceptional clarity and target definition. While the detents may feel a bit mushy to me, I think Vortex has better ones. During a shoot with the early morning sun slightly to the right of my face, I noticed some halo, but I wasn't using a sun shade, which would have solved that problem. The reticle is user-friendly and does not interfere with the target view. The flip-up scope caps are secure and fit tightly to stay in place. The parallax adjustment is a bit too easy to move and does not match the true distance, but the eye relief is still good and accurate even if your cheek weld is off slightly. This is my first Nightforce scope and the ATACR is a fantastic place to start. I have several Vortex scopes including HD, and recently purchased the AMG, but I have yet to mount it for comparison. I have many things to like about this scope, but there's not enough space to list all of them. In conclusion, I am thoroughly impressed with the Nightforce ATACR and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line scope for any type of shooting.

I've been using the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 F1 riflescope for a few months and shot with it in several matches. I must say, the clarity of the glass is truly exceptional and I've compared it to the Vortex Gen II scopes as well as Schmidt and Bender - Nightforce takes the cake. With this scope, I can spot 7mm bullet holes at 300 yards with ease. The turrets are incredibly accurate and consistent, always tracking perfectly. One of the standout features of this scope is its illumination options. You can switch between red and green illumination, and I've found that the green option is much gentler on the eyes compared to other scopes with red illumination, which can sometimes be too bright and wash out the target. With the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 F1, the target remains visible even when the reticle is illuminated. Overall, I have no regrets with my purchase of this riflescope. It is my preferred choice over all the others I've tried thus far.

The ATACR 5-25x56 f1 is my 1st Nightforce Scope, and let me say it is the finest glass I have ever looked through and shoot! Incredible light gathering in a dusk situation and the ability to choose from black to red to green reticle color is unmatched! It ain't cheap, but it will never need replacing! I can't wait to dial it up past 1500 yds!

After mounting this fantastic scope we went to shoot. The scope is the finest piece of equipment I've ever seen or used! The quality is Fantastic. The ballistics ap I used worked perfectly with the scope and the shooting was just simply Awesome! I started out getting it zeroed in and then took it downrange to 500 yds! This equipment is the very best optics I've ever seen. I put this scope on the Bergara .308 and it's the cats meow! I would highly recommend this scope to anyone whos serious about making any length shot with the utmost confidence! When you get this scope You will have the best experience of your life! I cant wait to shoot it again!

This is no doubt an excellent rifle scope. The zero set is not as easy as some of the other high end scopes. Tracking is very good and the illuminated retical is nice but I never use it. I live the first plane retical. The parallax settings does not even remotely track the range on the dial. I would like a better zero'ing method, it shouldn't need any tools. This is my second ATACR so I really do like the scope.

    Very Pleased With Scope Purchase!

This review is on the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 scope and the MIL-C reticle. First we will start with the scope, I have it mounted in a SPUHR one piece mount on a Tikka CTR 6.5CM. I shoot out to 1000yds and this scope has tracked perfectly and returns to my 100yd zero every time. The glass is as good or better as any other upper tier scope in this price range very clear and crisp even maxed out at 25x. Built in PTL is also a nice option no need for a after market TL. Capped windage or the option of uncapped with the included beauty ring thread protector. Zero stop works perfectly. Now the reticle which was one of the main reasons I bought this scope. I had a NightForce BEAST with the MIL-R and it was ok, but I found it difficult at times to see my corrections with the MIL-R, but the MIL-C I find it very easy to see my corrections with every whole Mil numbered and then .20 Mil hash marks. What can I say its a NightForce and this scope lives up to the NightForce reputation.

Slapped this Nightforce ATACR on a 338Lapua for serious distance shooting. Really clear glass to be expected for the price. H59 reticle gives you pinpoint aiming and should you miss, allows quick follow-up shots. Reduces guesswork. On the heavy side because of the 34mm tube. Pay once, hurt once and this should be good for my use a long time. It is clearly not a gift or given gratis nor was I paid to write a favorable review.

I paired the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 scope with my Alexander Arms 338 Lapua. Couldn't be more pleased—great glass and functionality. With the Horus reticle, this scope will easily take you to 1500 yds plus. Very durable. No problem holding up to the semi-auto 338.

It doesn't get much better than Nightforce. This ATACR 5-25x56 has the same glass as the Nightforce Beast, and is a first focal plane design. The glass is extraordinary, the turrets are crisp, and many more features that would take too long for me to write in this review. Nightforce has their reputation for a reason. If you want a quality optic you can't go wrong with this scope.
