I have several Nightforce NXS scopes, and I run them for anything from the target, prairie dog hunting, and competition. This scope is built very well, has positive clicks, and they are repeatable. The glass is good quality, above average but not razor sharp like my Swarovski Z6's are. The only downsides to this scope is the weight, and how you adjust the illuminated reticle. It is a small screw in the battery compartment so you can't look through the scope and adjust, it's tried and Adjust then put it back together and try again until it's right... But once set, it works... it's also made to take a beating, but the weight does make it tough to put on a hunting rifle for walking when you are trying to keep the overall weight down. I think Nightforce offers a middle ground for the cost, good optics with great reticle choices, and unbelievable turrets, they are very precise and repeatable. The zero stop feature is bulletproof and works every time. This overall is a great tactical scope that can cross over to hunting and target without having to spend over 2k. Best for the money I've found.
