The Mesa Tactical urbino tactical shotgun stock has specific features that make it highly useful to operators in the military and other law enforcement agencies. With the accompanying level of comfort, it is the most ideal for those required long hours of training. You cannot but love this rugged stock with its outstanding features. From the tactical 12.5” length of pull, (LOP), to the soft urethane rubber grip. Mesa Tactical is proudly made in the USA, the urbino tactical shotgun stocks’ name is inspired by the Italian city which hosts the headquarters of Benelli Ami Spa. Its major manufacturing material is the injection-molded glass filled nylon, tailored to serve the needs of uniformed men.

With the use of the Mesa Tactical urbino tactical shotgun stock, the operator does not feel so worn-out despite the long hours of practice sessions. The operator is kept in top shape with the;

Urethane rubber grip with rear pad reducing recoil impact against the web of the operator’s hand.
The optional limbsaver butt pad reducing felt recoil.

If the operator is using optics, the field adjustable cheek riser serves as a fantastic cheek weld. It works like this: The specially equipped urbino stock armatures come with side- molded rails into which the cheek piece snaps. These side-molded rails serve as the distinguishing component that ensures the operator can fit in the cheek riser. You have to note that some stocks do not have the rails, and as such, it is impossible to fit cheek risers into them. However, it is definitely still possible to use urbino stocks that come with rails without the checkpiece. In addition, it is easy to remove the cheek riser or adjust it to a lower level if the optics fails. Sureshell shotshell carriers that are specially designed also allow you decide when they need to be fitted to the cheek riser.

Bernelli style rear sling loops for 1.25” sling webbing remains a consistent feature of all Mesa Tactical urbino tactical shotgun stocks .QD style sling swivels are also readily compatible with one of the stocks’ feature, which is a hole at the lower rear. If you ever decide to fit any of Mesa Tactical Urbino tactical shotgun stocks with different optional steel pocket sling mounts such as the ones offered for our Remington telescoping stock adapter, it would be the perfect fit. Push-button sling swivel mounts, hook loops and pocket sling loops are all perfect fit between the urbino stock and the shotgun receiver.

Does not Fit my Supernova

A product designed to fit a specific weapon should not require you to drill a hole to fit the weapon. If you simply return the item you’re already 10% loss. If you attempt to drill a hole and mess up, I’m sure you’ll be out the whole cost of the stock. Would not bother with this product.

Got this to reduce the LoP on my SuperNova. It was between this or the more expensive/hard to find Benelli telescoping stock. The Mesa Tactical not only did the trick, but had numerous sling mounting options. I found the cheek riser to be more useful than I thought to get a comfortable position and weld. Haven’t yet put this into long term use, but got a great price through mounts plus. Had a tracking number issue and support responded quick. Very happy with my decision.

I am giving this Benelli SuperNova stock a 5-star review because of how great it looked, felt, the various attachment options that it has the potential for later on down the road (Cheek Riser, Sling attachment points, etc.) and the customer service from Mountsplus.
