I put this sight on a Caspian slide; it took some time to get it to fit, but after about an hour of carefully filing, the sight fit perfect with no gaps anywhere, and as someone said the design has changed, now it's just white dots, not the polymer inserts as shown. I'm pleased with the sight even if I had to spend more time than I would of like to get it to fit.

This is an excellent sight for replacement or upgrade. It fits and functions perfectly. The finish is high quality, and the white dots are bright and easy to see. This sight matched with a KENSIGHT front .180" is just suitable for my particular carry needs. Low profile, smooth contour, excellent quality, and good value is why I highly recommend it.

This Champion White Dot Novak Rear sight is very nicely finished, maintains clean lines, and presented a nice, smooth, consistent surface. Like most sights, fitting it to the slide was a little effort, and I did find the angles of the Novak cut on my Caspian slide to be slightly different from the angles of the sight. However, I've yet to determine if that is more due to Caspian's machining and leaving a bit more material to custom fit on or if there are a small degree of fit angles between the two specs off more than should be. Nevertheless, the sight is very well made and very nicely finished. Be sure to use your nylon punches to set this one in place; you don't want to mar this finish.

Purchased one for Springfield Loaded 1911, slight fitting required with a needle file. Once you get things where the sight will go half way in dove-tail on its own, use a brass or nylon punch to finish the installation. Lock tite the set screw in place after sight in. Excellent quality, the same sight COLT uses on their guns now. The white dots are white polymer inserts that will not fade away with cleaning solvents like painted dots. A+ quality

It took some filing to fit my Iver Johnson Hawk, but that is to be expected with installing any new sight. It looks like the original sight but it has the white dots that were not on the Iver Johnson Sight.
