An essential lever Harris canting bi-pods
This harris bipod swivel lock was a little tricky for me to figure out how to install (it came with no instructions). But it's a substantial improvement over the thumb nut included with Harris bi-pods (Harris screws their customers over by not including a level like this). If you're not familiar with what this lever does, it gives you much-needed leverage to tighten the tension on Harris canting bi-pods (you can loosen the bi-pod to allow canting left or right, then quickly tighten the bi-pod to lock-down the bi-pod, so there's no canting). I use this in combination with a scope-mounted bubble level to get things solid before each shot. Very cool.
"S" Bipod Lock
This bipod swivel lock works great in loosening and tightening swivel of Harris Bipod. Makes it very merely to perform functional use of swivel. Glad I bought it to use with my Harris HBRMS.
Easy to add on
Works perfectly with my Harris bipod with swivel. Easy to add on, allows you to really lock down the swivel or leave some slight slack so you can use cant your rifle... A must for the Harris...
Best for the money, and the steadiness.
Harris Bipod is the leading seller of Bipods in America for a reason; they are sturdy, great bipods. Long-range shooting requires stability, and This harris bipod swivel lock provide it.
Very easy to install and is a must-have for Harris Bipod
Very easy to install and is a must-have for Harris Bipod with S mounts. I went on the Harris site, and this exact manufacturer was listed there. The lever is made out of polymer but is still really strong.
Harris bipod s lock
Works very well in locking the cant of the Harris bipod. Much easier to grip the lever with gloves on than the small knob. It did take a few times to line up the threads, but once I found the sweet spot, it's simple to lock/unlock the cant. I would recommend it.
Harris bipod swivel lock
This is exactly what I was looking for as a swivel lock for the Harris bipod. The product is a little expensive for what it is, but it really does work and is well made. Overall, I am thrilled that I got it as it makes range time a lot more enjoyable.
“S” series Harris bipod must-have ypgrade
If you have an “S” series Harris bipod, this is a must-have, unless you’re one of those characters that use pliers to permanently set the factory tension knob to a certain tension level and keeps it that way forever. But if you want to quickly and easily release the tension, adjust the cant of your rifle because the bipod is on the uneven ground then lock things down again without having to fumble with the original little factory knob when wearing heavy gloves or you’re in a rush to take the shot, this is a necessity. They install easily and if you read (AND PAY ATTENTION TO) the instructions, once installed can be set so that a single throw of the lever clockwise will lock the swivel aspect of the bipod in position. There is a spring inside the collar of the lever that allows you to pull backward on it and rotate the lever in either direction without affecting the current tension setting. You then release the lever to set it in a new position. This is how you set the minimum or maximum tension possible from one full throw of the lever, which because of the bipod base where it attaches to the rifle is just over half a revolution. The way I have mine set, one quarter turn counter-clockwise releases the swivel just enough to make any cant adjustment needed, then one quarter turn clockwise completely locks the swivel in place and prevents any movement what-so-ever.
S-Lock
Ideal handle for the Harris Bipod S Series. You can get it tight every time.
absolutely idiot proof
I have the S Lock on every swivel model Harris Bipod I own (6 of them). I have had zero issues with movement when I dont want it, and a very easy quarter turn to loosen when I do want movement. I had issues many times before installing these with the nut on the swivel rod coming loose when I really wanted it to stay put. This is a brilliant solution.
