What People are saying about the Burris PEPR scope mount:

Rock Solid Scope Mount

This Burris PEPR mount is great if you want to install a BUIS (back up iron sight) on your AR-15 along with your scope. When mounted, there is plenty of room for a BUIS behind it, unlike most scope mounts that take up the entire rail.

Another thing I like is that the Picatinny tops on the scope rings can be replaced with regular low profile rings. They are interchangeable with the ring tops that come with the Burris Xtreme Tactical Rings, which do not have the Picatinny tops and are sold individually or in pairs. This allowed me to have a Picatinny rail on the front ring where I mounted an Aimpoint Micro for CQB, and the rear ring has a non-Picatinny rail, which makes it easier to access my scope dials for a long-distance shot. I wish I could show you a picture.

great value for a rock-solid QD Mount

This Burris PEPR is an excellent mount. Robust, simple construction. It works as designed, with a reliable return to zero when remounted in the same position on the rail. The ways to improve this would be to reduce the number of screws on the scope rings (12 is overkill) and make them flat or Phillips, so a typical field multitool allows the operator to remove the scope easily.

Excellent Product

I now own two of these Burris AR PEPR mounts. I have had one on an AR platform rifle that has been taken off and remounted approximately 20 times without losing its zero. As long as you take the time to set it up correctly, they are very accurate for the intended purpose. I recently purchased a second for an alternate optic and am just as pleased.

Best value for an AR-style mount

The Burris PEPR scope mount are already the best value on the market. The new QD feature is just icing on the cake. The levers are reversible and easily adjustable. The kit comes with smooth ring tops in addition to the railed ones in the picture. Return to zero after removing is within 1 MOA.

Burris AR Tactical Mounts AR-P.E.P.R. Scope Mount

I bought this Burris AR-P.E.P.R mount to go along with a Leupold VX-I 2X-7 scope for my son's SIG 522 classic. The unique feature of having Picatinny rails on top of the mount allowed me to mount a Sig Red dot on top of the scope. The mount is stable, and, as I expected, it holds zero well, and the red dot works great mounted on top of the mount. With 12 screws holding the scope in the mount, I found the scope mounting procedure a bit more time consuming than anticipated, although it was still relatively straight forward. One word of advice, if your finicky about the aesthetics of your gun's appearance, be careful tightening the nuts that secure the mount to the gun, the coating on the edges seems to come off fairly quickly - although it's nothing that is concealed with a simple blueing pen. All in all, the mount works as advertised, and my son thinks it makes his rifle look cool with a red dot on top of the mount.

Burris AR-PEPR

For all my AR fans out there, look no further. I have several ARs in 5.56 and 308 that I use this mount on. Talk about sturdy and easy to setup. Once you get the scope sighted, you can take the mount off with the scope and not worry about losing zero. I take mine off every time I leave the range, and when I go back, I put the mount back on and shoot. I'd put this mount against any of the high dollar amounts, and I promise, this Burris will not disappoint you. Stop looking at this review and buy it. Apache 5 out...

Burris AR-P.E.P.R QD Mount

I purchased this to mount a Nikon scope to my S&W M&P 15-22. It not only works perfectly, but it also looks great too. It has the proper rise to allow it to clear the folding rear Magpul sights so that you can leave your iron sights installed. The quick disconnect is adjustable to slightly different sized rails. It can quickly and easily be used to remove whatever view you have installed so that you can swap to another if desired without using tools. It also seems to hold the scope's settings so that re-sighting is not needed — all in all, a great product.
