Looks and feels very good . Dropped a star because I did have to take a Dremel and round the knotch to slide in all the way to the reciever but easy 10 second fix looks great

This ak47 stock is excellent; it looks good and feels good on the shoulder. You will need to round the corners where the rear trunnion seats to it and file down the channel the rear trunnion seats onto in order to allow the stock to fit flush to the receiver. Once that's done, just mark and drill your holes.

This Ak47 stock has several excellent features such as adjustable cheek height and length of pull. It also has some built in QD sling mounts. The butt pad is also removable. Its construction also seems good and the stock looks and feels high quality. It's probably one of the best and most feature-packed for the money stocks on the market. My main complaints are that there is not storage area for the factory cleaning kit and its difficult to install. The cleaning kit isn't a deal breaker because it's low quality anyway, but I just like it with me. As for installation, I knew it was going to be difficult because nothing on AK's seem to fit properly right out of the box. Promag intensionally makes these stocks a bit large so that they fit tight. You are supposed to file them in key areas to make them fit your gun. There will also almost always be a small gap between the receiver and stock because most stamped receivers are not perfectly strait. My stock would not seat all of the way, so I had to file much more material than I first thought I would. I also discovered that the rear of my receiver is stamped on more of an angle that I first thought. Also, just like the last stock, I installed on an AK, I had to drill pilot holes for the screws. Not all AK's are built the same and not all parts align the same, so it is very common for stocks to ship without mounting holes in them. I would like to put my old stock my other AK, but the mounting holes don't align. Overall, it's a good stock at a good price; just be prepared to do some work.

This type of AK stock can't be beaten at this price point. The ability to add or subtract almost an inch of lop simply by removing the butt pad is a plus. The adjustable cheek weld, stock length can be reduced to Warsaw length ( give or take ), etc. all make this a great budget stock. Yes, it requires some minor modifications. No surprise here. It's manufactured to fit the AK and its many siblings.

Took a lot of sanding, grinding, and filing to get this on, but it is tight and almost a perfect fit now on my SDS Lynx-12. be careful drilling the screw holes, i was just a hair off center drilling the screw holes, so when I tightened the screws, it backed the stock out about 1/32", not a big gap but kind of spoiled all the sanding I did to get a precise fitting. nice sturdy & ergonomic stock, though!

I am impressed at how solid this AK stock is. Anyone that bashes this stock because of the price or brand obviously hasn't tried it. I purchased it because I didn't want to use a rigged ar part on my ak and I wanted to be somewhat unique. My favorite feature is the scar-style cheek rest. It feels great and looks like it belongs on the gun. The only thing I would change is the bulky recoil pad. It works well and takes all the shock out, but I would prefer a lower-profile pad just for aesthetics. But it does come right off if you want.

Would have been perfect if it actually would fit my AK. Mine had 1 bolt that attaches from inside stock not screws on outside. Just make sure how your butt stock attaches before ordering. Not all are alike!

With just minimal fitting, it fits beautifully and functions perfectly. The two QD sling mounts on each side hold QD fittings just fine. The adjustable length of pull and adjustable cheek riser are just right for this rifle. Very satisfied, and I highly recommend it.

If you have a scope on an AK 47/74, are handy with a Dremel, and fitting up of parts, this is the stock you have been looking for. Once you have cleaned up flash from seam lines, the cheek riser adjusts and locks cleanly in place. Has the correct heal drop to fit your shoulder and maintain cheek weld for high mount optics. Drop cheek riser and you are lined up with iron sites. Looks much better on AK than the AR type adjustable stocks. Rugged and and about same weight as wood. Fit my Bulgarian M74 easily with a little sanding and shaping. Tap into receiver, secure with two screws and you have a tight wiggle-free adjustable stock.

Awesome AK stock! It was easy to install, fit my I.O. AKM perfectly. Have to drill two holes for the mount screws, but that's to be expected. So far this stock looks beautiful, functions flawlessly, and is quite comfortable... all at a great price. You can't beat it.
