This Digital version of the Wheeler Torque Wrench is significantly more straightforward to use than the analog version. For example, with the analog version you have to estimate the torque settings between 15 and 20 inch/pounds but with the digital version, you simply set the exact setting that you need. For the $20 increase in price, this version provides a much easier way to torque down your scope rings and mounts and I believe it is also more accurate. I wish that I had purchased the digital version when I bought my first Wheeler torque wrench but now that I have this digital model I am totally pleased with the ease of operation. This is a major design improvement.

Just what I wanted. I took the material from under the battery, put the battery back in and it was up and running without any problems. I've been mounting scopes on a couple of my rifles, red dots, and a laser to some of my pistols. My eyes need help in my old age.

I've been installing scopes for years and using manual torque wrenches. This has the right heads, and I just put the weight range way up. So if I need 20-inch lbs. I just watch the scale until it hits 20; that simple. If you need 50, just watch the scale till it hits 50, not rocket science. Easy

Some of my scopes and firearms parts have specific torque requirements, and this product fits neatly in my range bag. No more toting full-size torque wrenches in awkward containers. Love it!

Gave this to my gunsmith son. So I asked him how he liked it. He said it was a very good tool, and he uses it to mount scopes. Four stars, as he says there is always room for improvement. He says that his Chapman tool bits don't fit in Wheeler.

Precise for delicate machine screws, particularly in soft metals. Have the confidence to get it right without the fear of stripping the threads.

I really wish I had never waited so long to buy this. It is SOOOOOO much easier to mount base and rings to proper specs. The only thing missing is to have the driver "break" at torque spec. That option would likely double the price, or more. All-in-all, I LOVE THIS... really love it. It comes with an extra battery and everything you need to get it right, right after opening the box.

Extremely useful in the reassembly of Remington 10/22 Rifles to maintain Barrel seating into stock after disassembly to maintain alignment once sighted in for scope. Also handy in torquing scope rings.

This is a great complementary tool to any maintenance kit. For the first time in many years, I have been confident in the torque specifications for the smaller aspects of AR maintenance and finally blue thread lock with confidence.

My calibrated hand failed me, and I snapped a barrel screw on a target pistol. I researched the best remedy, and the Wheeler F.A.T. Wrench is it. Quality product! I have since used it for mounting scopes and other tasks. I am considering the Wheeler Trigger Gauge next, just for kicks. (I am upgrading a few triggers.)

I have never used a digital torque wrench before. I was hesitant but knew that Wheeler made quality products. I will never go back. The F.A.T. Wrench is perfect for working on all sorts of firearms.
