Trijicon RMR HD for Sale: Elevate Your Shooting Experience

The Trijicon RMR HD is a groundbreaking red dot pistol optic designed to meet the escalating needs of Military, Law Enforcement, and civilian shooting enthusiasts. As an enhancement from the Trijicon RMR® Adjustable LED model, the RMR HD boasts advanced features like a top-loading battery, an expanded window, and a pioneering forward-looking light sensor. With its versatility in illumination adjustability and a plethora of reticle choices, the RMR HD is a top pick for duty use.

The Trijicon RMR HD's innovative forward-looking light sensor gauges target brightness, tailoring the reticle brightness for peak performance across varied lighting scenarios. It introduces a new reticle allowing users to switch between a detailed pattern or a singular sharp dot, inclusive of an ultra-bright mode and an added night vision setting. The RMR HD also empowers operators with the capability to refine the Auto Illumination and the dot/circle contrast.

With its larger, tactile buttons, enhanced adjusters delivering superior audible and tactile feedback, and an expanded field of view, the RMR HD is a game-changer. Maintaining the same footprint as its predecessor, the RMR, it seamlessly fits most existing optics-ready duty holsters. For those seeking a robust, feature-loaded optic that promises top-tier performance and unmatched reliability, the Trijicon RMR HD is the ultimate choice.

The RMR HD's front-positioned light sensor offers a distinct edge – it evaluates the lighting conditions at the target, not just around the user. This eradicates reticle washout when transitioning from dim to bright areas and vice versa. The LED intensity in the RMR HD auto-adjusts based on the lighting conditions ahead of the objective lens, ensuring a flawless aiming point.

If dynamic performance under shifting lighting conditions is what you seek, the RMR HD stands out, especially with the activation/deactivation of weapon-mounted lights. For those on the hunt for a resilient, feature-rich optic with unparalleled performance, the Trijicon RMR HD is your perfect match.

Trijicon: Setting the Gold Standard in Red Dot Optics

Trijicon is a revered name in the red dot optics sphere, esteemed by tactical and civilian shooting aficionados. The brand's legacy is built on stellar products like the ACOG, adopted by the U.S. military, and the RMR range of reflex sights, favored by military, law enforcement, and civilian handgun owners.

The RMR series, celebrated for its compact yet incredibly resilient red dot, is renowned for its durability and unwavering performance, even in the harshest conditions. The Trijicon RMR, or "Ruggedized Miniature Reflex", debuted in 2009. It was a time when the idea of mounting a red dot on a handgun was still nascent. The challenge lay in crafting a reflex optic that could endure the immense force of a slide cycling and the rigors of intensive operations.

The RMR's unique housing design, which diverts impact energy away from the optic’s glass, is a testament to its durability. This, combined with cutting-edge optical design elements, was instrumental in the RMR Type 2 optic being selected as the official US SOCOM Handgun Reflex Sight (HRS).

Fast-forwarding to today, Trijicon has set a new benchmark with its latest offering — the Trijicon RMR HD.

Is the Trijicon RMR HD the New Gold Standard in Red Dot Optics?

The RMR HD, an advanced red dot pistol optic, is crafted to cater to the evolving needs of law enforcement, military, and civilian shooters. While it's marginally larger than the RMR and RMR Type 2, the RMR HD retains the same footprint, ensuring compatibility with current duty holsters.

Building on the Trijicon RMR adjustable LED model, the RMR HD inherits the iconic housing shape made from 7075 T-6 forged aluminum, top-tier lenses, and robust electronics. It's also waterproof up to 20 meters. Weighing just 1.66 oz. with a CR2032 battery, its dimensions are 2.2” in length, 1.3” in width, and 1.2” in height.

The HD variant introduces several upgrades. The battery is now top-loading, eliminating the need to remove the optic for battery replacement. This battery is designed for over two years of continuous use at a day setting. The RMR HD also offers a larger sight picture window.

Users can select between a 1 MOA dot (RMRM HD 01 model) or a 3.25 MOA dot (RMR HD 02). Additionally, there's an option to display a 55 MOA segmented circle around the red dot. Both the dot and circle feature a new "super bright" mode and an extra night vision setting.

The forward-mounted light sensor is a standout feature, allowing the RMR HD to gauge lighting conditions at the target, minimizing "reticle washout" or "reticle bloom". It also enables the RMR HD to adapt to changing light sources, like when using a weapon-mounted light.

In terms of controls, the RMR HD offers multiple modes, including "lock-out", "lock-in", and "tunable-auto". The windage and elevation adjusters have been revamped for tactile and audible clicks during zeroing. The controls, marked by "+" and "-" buttons, are designed for tactile and audible adjustments, even with gloves on.

Features and Benefits of the Trijicon RMR HD:
