After extensive research, I concluded that SureFire is the most reliable option when it comes to weapon lights and is widely used by professionals. Additionally, I have personally experienced their excellent customer service. I own an X300-B Weapon Light "Legion" made for the Sig Sauer "Legion" series in "Legion" grey, and it recently stopped working. However, after contacting SureFire, they repaired it at no cost to me and returned it at no cost as well. For my P320 Equinox, I decided to purchase another SureFire light, as I couldn't think of a better option. It's important to note that if you're installing the light on a Sig Sauer or another pistol with a Picatinny rail, you need to switch the rail wedge. I initially forgot to replace the universal wedge with the Picatinny wedge and thought the light wasn't fitting correctly. Once I realized my mistake, the X300-B fit my P320 perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend SureFire for their reliability, excellent customer service, and high-quality products.

I am thoroughly impressed with this light - it's ruggedly constructed, extremely bright, and easy to mount (specifically, on my Sig P226). While there is a slightly different method for engaging the "constant" and "momentary" modes compared to the Streamlight TLR-1HL, it's not a problem for me. My only gripe is that the switches require a little more force to move than my TLR-1HL, regardless of which mode is being used. However, with proper training and use, I can account for this difference. Those with a lighter touch may have more difficulty, but there may be a solution to loosening up the controls with repeated use or some other method that I am unaware of. Overall, this is an excellent light that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a bright, durable, and easy-to-use weapon light.

When it came time to equip my new handgun with a weapon light, I initially opted to purchase another Streamlight TLR 2, as I've had great results with them in the past. While I've used and abused my Streamlights for years without issue, I decided to give the Surefire X300 Ultra a try for my latest addition. So far, I have been very pleased with its performance, despite it operating slightly differently than the Streamlight and having a different throw pattern. While I still prefer the activation switch on the Streamlight due to muscle memory, the X300 Ultra has performed flawlessly, and I'm glad I made the purchase. However, I don't agree with those who claim that the Surefire X300 is lightyears ahead of the Streamlight. Both brands produce fantastic weapon lights, and you can't go wrong with either choice. If anything changes in terms of performance, I will update this review. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Surefire X300 Ultra and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable weapon light.

The SureFire brand is known for producing nearly indestructible and awesome products, and their weapon lights are no exception. While the price tag may be steep, consider the value of a reliable parachute when your plane is on fire. You don't want to be caught in a dangerous situation without proper lighting to identify your target and what's beyond it. The included cross-bars make it easy to attach the light to a Glock or 1913 Pic rail, and the thumb screw can be tightened with a penny or Tasco chamber flag. It's a well-known fact that evil prefers darkness, and a weapon light can take away that advantage in an instant. While it may not be easy to carry a pistol with a light, every rifle should have a white light and every pistol that is not normally carried on your person should have one as well. Some may worry that a light will give away their position, but it's important to remember that your gunfire will also do so. This light is incredibly bright and can blind an adversary at close range for a few seconds. You don't need to keep it on all the time, but it can be turned on just before firing to confirm your target is a threat. It's important to get proper training on how to use it effectively. It's also important to have a handheld light on hand for situations that don't require a firearm, as it's not polite or smart to use a gun as a flashlight unless you may need to shoot what is illuminated. The SureFire weapon light can be used as a handheld light as well, but it's not recommended to try and attach it to a firearm during a high-pressure situation. In short, while the price tag may be steep, the value of a reliable weapon light is immeasurable in a dangerous situation. It's important to be prepared and to have the proper training to use it effectively.

This light is fantastic! Instant daylight in a pitch-black room. Massive amount of flood light around the main beam. Even when shown against a white wall, my night vision is not compromised; anyone on the receiving end is completely different. Very small and light-weight but is NOT the same size as the x-300; it is slightly longer and more comprehensive. Anyone with handgun holsters made for the x-300 light may have to get a new holster depending on how tight the fit is.

Have these on Pistols and Rifles.... I will never go with another WML as long as these still exist. These throw enough Light to make 200 Yards hits a Reality at Night when mounted on a Rifle. At only 4 ounces of Weight, these Bomb Proof lights are where it's at! Merrica'.

I have one on an HK VP9, Sig P229R, and my Troy AR. A very solid light with a wide range of applications.

I have one on a Sig P220... I love it and just bought a second light that I mounted on a Benelli M2 Tactical. I think this will be an excellent home defense package. This light is exceptionally durable and more than bright enough to blind any intruder temporarily.

This is, without question, the best weapon light out there. Excellent on both pistol or long gun , small and too bright, has a smooth well-focused beam with well over 100 yards of reach, and has no hot spots or dark spots and any range. No, it isn't cheap, but the best usually isn't !!!

Mounted this light on my T. W. S., AR-15. It's small enough not to be a hindrance to operation or mobility, but by far, bright enough to make inside the house and surrounding outside property look like high-noon on a clear day. Most might think this light's primary use is for pistols because of its size, but don't hesitate to mount it on a long gun for property protection. I highly recommend this light.

One of the most useful lights around works great on both pistols and rifles out to two hundred yards. I own two of these and the older x300 and 200 units, and they all are bulletproof. I like the method of operation, having used their lights for nearly 20 years. This unit is bright, almost overkill on a pistol for home use, and works best on a full-size pistol or duty gun. The x300u, however, transitions perfectly to the AR or combat shotgun with ease. The light output is perfect with no rings, hotspots, or annoying center isolation, just pure broad penetrating light with perfect edge fall off. Yes, it costs more, but it is worth every penny. If you are using it, Pistol only grabs the newest smallest Surefire, but for multiple guns, including long guns, this is ideal.

What you'd expect from Surefire. Looks and works great on my 12 gauge.
