- Four side set screws allows you to lock the receiver cover to the SKS receiver for a secure fit
- The Receiver Cover is manufactured slightly longer by a few thousandths, so that it can be hand fited to the various manufacturers of the SKS rifles. Some handfitting may be required for a secure fit
- Mount is a See-Through design, which allows you to still be able to use the Iron Sights when mounted onto the SKS rifle

Along with the necessary filing of the angled nubs the lock hold was made too small and a 1/4 of an inch too far back and needed extra work to make fit.

Right out of the box, a label: the receiver hands overdosed to fit anything else but not your SKS. Actual measurement is 1/4" longer, 3/16" taller, a hole is not in place and wrong size.

This SKS mount is only as good as the time you take to fit it to your rifle. They require to fit tight in order for your rifle to hold zero so one must pay close attention to the fitting. The very best scope mount for the SKS is a made by Matador Arms, but not everyone wants to spend the money. This unit is second best if done with care.
