Purchased this for the front of my 556ER - the dovetail was snug but fit perfectly with a little encouragement from a brass hammer. Seems to be a pretty solid unit, can't wait to shoot it. And lines up right with a 6/3 detachable AR rear sight, and co-witnesses with an old Bushnell Holosight. Thanks folks!

It was installed easily once the original sight was removed. It shot at least 6" low at 25 yds. using Samson front sight and Troy Ind. rear BUIS. Sight post bottomed out on sight. I called Samson, and they sent me a different sight post(shorter threads) and plunger. On target at 100yd now.

This was a replacement for the solid iron site that came with my 556. The install was easy but the spring to flip up the sight is very tight, takes a two-hand action. It must take a while to loosen up.

This sight is perfect, flips up at the push of a button, looks great on my sig 556 classic swat, and folds down out of the way of my Aimpoint Pro.

Replaces factory tab ( my model did not come with a fixed front sight ). Nice design. A little bit expensive but is the best option for the Sig .556 with the dovetail grove.
