Sadlak Industries M14/M1A Aluminum Scope Mount
Made to the exact same precise specifications, with every feature, as our steel and titanium models used by the military but with such an affordable proce that every sportsman can now afford one.
The new aluminum M1A scope mount is made to the same rugged 3-point contact design from 7075 heat treated aircraft aluminum. The standard finish is black hard-coat anodize. Sadlak Industries is not going to pretend that the aluminum mount is built to withstand the rigors required for all uses. It is, however, the lightweight and lower cost alternative that makes it an ideal mount for rifles used in less demanding circumstances or seasonally, as in hunting.
As Sadlak Industries traced the progression of M14 scope mounting solutions employed by the military, they studied their evolution from the first U.S. Army Marksmanship Training Unit (USAMTU) prototype for the Leatherwood ART-I scope produced in aluminum, to the M21 ART-II scope and mount, and ending with the Brookfield Precision Tool steel mount for the upgraded M21 and M25 military sniper rifles.
Sadlak Industries believe that the ART-II aluminum mount (similar to current available mounts) failed to perform in military field conditions primarily because of design rather than material. Sadlak Industries have been unable to find any record of Brookfield's superior 3-point contact design tested in aluminum as they went straight to steel as their production material.
After making six (6) small but important improvements to the original Brookfield design, Sadlak Industries did test it in aluminum and they feel that it will not only work in civilian use, but will fill the gap which exists between rugged heavy steel mounts in use by the military and other current alternatives which fail to mount securely or perform as desired.
In the past few months, Sadlak Industries have been experimenting with a few alternative hard coat alternatives. The photo below shows our aluminum Sadlak M1A Scope Mount

Customer Ratings & Reviews
There were so many sheets included with the mount, it was a bit intimidating. By separating sheets into measuring and installing it was easy. I followed the install as written, and did a fit and install to check that I was okay. Everything fit exactly so I put the purple thread lock (included) on the screws and installed a second time. The fit is tight I am completely happy with the mount. Machining and finish are excellent

This Aluminum M1a Mount much lighter than my Gen3 SA that used to inhabit my M1A — lowered the scope by 3/4 of an inch too. Make for a more solid cheek weld.
This scope mount fit my M1a like a glove. Top notch workmanship! I highly recommend this product.
Sadlak install video clears up any questions
Though I've not yet bought this, I have done a lot of research on various mounting solutions for the M1A. The top three seem to be the Springfield Gen 4, CASM, and this Sadlak. For those who are worried about the install, I've included a link to a very informative and detailed install video for the Sadlak. Based on the economical price of the Sadlak aluminum M1A mount and what I learned from the video, I'll be going with this Sadlak. It is very well-designed, secure, and easy to install. I will try to update my review once I've installed mine.
so much better than the standard Springfield mount
The Sadlak m1a mount is so much better than the standard Springfield mount. Installation directions and sketches were clear and made it easy to install. This was a great find. I feel more accurate already.
Sadlak m1a scope mount
I purchased this for a Standard Springfield Armory M1A; The Sadlak is a top-quality American made piece and, once installed, is not going to move. I made sure to very carefully read the excellent but also exact and very technical instructions. I used the included receiver spec test kit for civilian M1As, which are not always as precise as the M14. I also found it helpful to get online and watch a video of a guy installing one. So after carefully reading the instructions a couple of times and watching the video Install. My install was a perfect fit, and after a few hundred rounds, nothing has moved. Another very cool thing is that you can still use the iron sights easily through the channel in the 1913 rail. If you use tall enough scope mounts, that is. I am thrilled with the Sadlak mount, and it is worth the price every penny of it.
sadlak aluminum scope mount
I think this is an excellent M1A mount. Fits like a glove and stays tight. I use the aluminum version since it's less likely to leave marks on the rifle when removed. If I were going into combat, I might want the steel version, but otherwise, the aluminum is just fine.
