    Very Satisfied

So installation of the stock did prove to be slightly difficult given the stock sights on the barrel of my ruger 10/22 however after I managed to remove them it was simple and easy to install. And it completely transformed the look of the gun into what I wanted out of it so I am very pleased with the purchase!

I added this stock to my 10/22

I added this stock to my 10/22 with a .920 barrel. Some trimming of the forend was necessary where the new barrel mounts to the receiver. I also had to file about 0.005" to get the flat top part to fit over my receiver. Overall, an outstanding looking stock and setup. The upper Picatinny rails make it impractical to mount a 44mm scope onto the setup because the height of the scope mounts necessary to fall comfortably to the eye would put the scope over 2 1/2" above the barrel centerline. In my particular setup with a Tasco Pronghorn 3x9 scope, it is very difficult to achieve anything close to a comfortable eye relief with rings that just barely clear and the scope to centerline is about 2 1/4".

This is a great 10 22 stock. I gunsmithed for 25 years, so I am a "little" picky. It looks good and the fit was perfect. A fit like that is not a given. Including an extended mag release was a nice touch.

    Awesome 10-22 stock

The stock is easily installed and gives a new dimension of fun to the 10-22. I had the barrel cut to 16 1/2 inches, threaded and installed an M4 flash hider to add to it's image. The plastic bayonet is good for giving to a neighbor boy who collects knives but any other use is severely limited. A heavy barrel or suppressed barrel will feel right at home in this stock.

    Excellent 10/22 Stock System

    5 out of 5
    Location:

I've tried a couple of AR type stocks for my 10/22 and this is the best I've found so far, for the price. It's light weight with the free float barrel design, which is what I've been looking for. I own a Ruger Target, so the bayonet setup is basically useless, but who wants to put a bayonet on a .22??!! The only negative I have on this system is that there are no rails on the sides say for a light, laser or whatever. Had to buy some MOE rails to complete my setup. I would have rated this system 5 stars if it wasn't for this design flaw...

    All around good 1022 stock

I ordered the 5.56 kit this past weekend, and it was delivered yesterday, very quick shipping for lowest price offered. When assembling, the forend of the kit was really having a hard time sliding over the removed back iron sight fitting (attached to barrel and not removable) so I had heat the forend at ~170F for 10 min. and ended up having to shave a bit off the inside where it slides in to be fastened to the receiver. All in all a good product, haven't gone to shoot with it yet but seems like it will hold up nicely.

    Awesome ruger 10/22 tactical stock

Very well built. No issues with it at all. Maybe the markings on it saying 5.56 would rather it said 22 or 10/22. I have shot several rounds no prob, dis assembled several times no stripped hardware.

    Archangel 10/22 Stock, not impressed!

Not as impressive mechanically as it looks... I had a difficult time during assembly, particularly when installing. Difficult to seat the receiver into the stock. The collapsible butt stock is very difficult to set for position. I loosened the Allen head bolts on either side as suggested, but they are plastic, one just rounded out... even being extremely careful. Oh well, it is complete now and it is what it is. Overall, not too happy with the product. Even though it looks nice, it won't be an easy takedown for a deep cleaning. The original magazine does not come out easily either. It will require sanding to allow removal... they could have done much better!!!

Good 10/22 Stock but lil disappointed...

First, this is the same stock as the 5.56 minus the fake bayonet. I am happy with my purchase but also disappointed in some ways. The adjustable stock I was expecting to be similar to an accurate AR style stock but instead its like fake mold similar to that of a toy gun. Overall it gives the 10/22 a nice look and feel though. Just don't have high expectations of this and you will be happy. The bolts that hold the stock together strip out VERY easy. Some other reviewer said "I just didn't use 100 ft-lbs to tighten mine" which is just a silly statement. Fact is they strip out just past snug, like maybe .5 - 1 ft lb. This is unacceptable to me and apparently many others also. The fit was pretty good and didn't need to be baked, however the magazines are a VERY tight fit. I would not be able to use the stock mag or it would never come out, good thing I have 30 rounders. Also, the butt stock is very straight, I like a little bit of angle to my stock so that I can get y eye behind the optics without needing a high mount. As it is, Im going to need to lift both my optics because of the very straight butt stock on the kit, I wish it were adjustable. I cant comment on durability but it feels pretty solid. All and all its a good buy despite the obvious shortcomings, but Id like to see these issues addressed in future versions.
