We have found that some models are not drilled and tapped from the factory. If that is the case, you would need to have your receiver drilled and tapped before installing our mount. If you have any questions about your specific model or receiver, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of your firearm. They should be able to confirm whether your receiver is drilled and tapped by referencing your serial number.
Rail Type: One Piece Picatinny
Machined From: Domestic 6061 T6 Extruded Aluminum
Finish: Matte Black Anodizing
Overall Length: 5.488"
Height: .4" (Top of Receiver to Top of Picatinny)
Weight: 2 oz.
Ambidextrous: Yes
Torque Specs: 20 in/lbs
Mounting Hardware: #6-48 X 1/4 Screws and T-10 Bit Included
Compatible with Picatinny Scope Rings or Weaver scope rings.
Evolution Gun Works recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

picatinny rail for remington 870
I had this 870 Picatinny rail installed by a gunsmith on my 870 because I had to drill and tap the receiver for it. It seems as if it should have four holes in the bolt, but it has three, and the three screws keep it rock solid in place after installation. This mount, along with a Magpul SGA 870 stock with an additional 3/4 inch raiser, is now ideal for welding the cheek and the sight when using a red dot or a ghost ring.
Used for H&R Pardner
Do you need a shotgun with a Picatinny rail, no, probably not? But does that sound cool? That. Place this Remington 870 Picatinny rail on my H&R Pardner, which is a clone. I had 2 holes I had to drill but wasn't too hard. I took my time, using a more significant bit of my drill press, and a smaller one to hold the screws in. I drilled up a little bit of matte black spray on the two holes and looks phenomenal
Best Remington 870 Picatinny rail mount
I am thrilled with the product. I have Purchased from EGW before, and their scope mounts are well-made.
works as it should
A functional rail that permits you to mount most any kind of optics on your shotgun. You can pay more and get a higher grade material, but realistically this will never fail, and the accuracy is more than adequate for it's designated purpose.
