I was worried that I would have to file and grind to get this to fit on my Bulgarian AK.It slipped on as aesy as the stock cover.

This Reciever Cover is about an inch longer than needed and a bit wider than needed. I had to use a grinder to grind it down shorter. The front rail support is too long and I had to file that down to the 1st bolt completely shaving the fron bolt off to fit. Not worth the money. It is basically a weak cover that is hard to get to fit. I mopunted a scope on it and test fired. The scope is not good on this rail system. It is too loose and it is not accurate and never will be. The two screws on the rear are the only thing that helps snug it up but the more you try to get it tight the higher the rear of rail will rise and then come off over the lip it should be holding it in. Not Practicle. Don't buy. I found the same rail at Cabela's for much less than this company sells it for.

I have bought 2 of these and will soon buy the third! I have had to do no filing down or modifying when installing them on my romanian or saiga, but I hear that its a little difficult to fit to the mak90 and ak74. Also supposed to work well on bulgarian ak47s. I have had no trouble with accuracy out to over 300yds. You may have to loosen the screws on the back, adjust, and retighten a few times for accuracy at that distanse though. I really like that I can still use the standard sights.

Its worth the purchase.

Fairly nice fit but it will require some hand fitting and filing. It is fairly loose, so at distance it will through your optics off. Mine is pretty worthless past 200 yards and its about 3" off at any direction at that point. I think someone would be better off going with a handguard with a rail.

Great product, good position, love it

Seems to be of good quality. I had to ream out the rear hole for a fit.

I did not have to modify my rifle at all to put this on. It is great quality, better than the one my rifle came with. Tri-rail is solid and has the groove down the middle so you can use the iron sight. Excellent product very happy.

all around very nice piece pieces of metal where therd's are bent to big had to grind down other wise good

well built will the little threaded pieces are to thick and curved stop it from fitting until you grind each piece down to fit over edge could use to be smaller or on the outside tack weld I like it a lot good look

fit pertfectly but may need to do a little filing for some variant models . In my case didn't have to do any filing . Excellent product MS i will order again from you probably the AK furnioture. ( butt stock, pistol grip , and fore hand. Thanks MS!

On my weapon I needed to remove some metal from each side of the cover to clear the bolt/screw heads. I also needed to SLIGHTLY bend the lower rear lip to clear the lugs on the rear of the receiver. Total time about 15 minutes using a round file and a pair of vise grip pliers. The 2 allen bolts lock the cover in place for a nice solid mount for the scope. I have not had it out to the range yet to see if the scope will retain it's zero.
