The Magpul XTM Hand Stop has been a perfect addition to several KSGs that I have installed it on. It offers the necessary leverage in both directions when cycling the action and ensures that your hand does not end up forward of the barrel. I believe that KelTec should consider including this product as part of their OEM package. The installation process is straightforward, and the product is lightweight. I highly recommend this hand stop to anyone who is looking for an improvement in their shooting experience.

As one would expect from Magpul, this is a great product. I always check if they have what I need before looking anywhere else. Although I had to return the hand stop I ordered since my rifle came with a key mod rail system, I found it to be an excellent product. I attempted to use it on my AK forend, but as I have large hands (I am 6'5" and 285lbs), it wasn't large enough to function correctly. However, this issue is not a fault of the product, and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a picatinny rail hand stop.

For those seeking better control of their AR/AK pistol, the perfect solution can be found in Magpul's Hand Stop. With a modular design, it is highly customizable to suit your specific requirements. This product provides an excellent alternative to vertical fore grips, which are not permitted in some cases. It is worth noting that you may need to adjust the fit of the panels to your rail as they can be a bit snug on some rails, even ones marketed as "Mil-Spec."

Magpul's offering of a low-cost and efficient xtm hand stop for achieving a secure hand position on your forestock via Picatinny rail is impressive. In my experience, it's even more comfortable to use than Magpul's forward slant grip. The adjustable nature of this product allows for customization of grip and positioning on your rifle to suit your preferences. In addition to its functionality, it also adds an element of style to your rail system. Overall, it's a fantastic and cool product.

My goal was to create a carbine that was more than just a low-cost build, and I believe I have accomplished that by incorporating MAGPUL furniture. The addition of the hand stop not only provides the shooter with complete control over the carbine, but it also enhances the overall aesthetic of the firearm.

Initially, I purchased the hand stop kit and xtm enhanced rail panels to replace the vertical grip on my rail system. However, the default configuration of the kit was not to my liking as it felt uncomfortable for my normal hand positioning, and when combined with the xtm panels, made my forend appear bulkier. Nonetheless, I was determined to improve the ergonomics of my rail system and after some experimentation with the rail placement of the hand stops and panels, I was able to customize a grip that perfectly suits my hand. The resulting grip is a significant improvement over using a vertical grip or AFG and I plan to continue using this configuration exclusively. I highly recommend this product and encourage others to experiment with different configurations until they find the one that works best for them.

I prefer the Magpul XTM hand stop over the angled and vertical grips. It allows me to handle my rifle with more control. Comfortable and easy to install.

Used on several AR-15 pistols builds. Feels good in the hand and keeps fingers safe. Could come with a one or two more extensions.

For such a small system, The Magpul XTM hand stop really does the job. I found with experimenting that there is a big difference between the hand grip and stop. This really fits the bill. It's comfortable, without having the weight or profile of others. It fits the hand naturally with one finger in front while the palm is stopped by the second.

The Magpul XTM handstop kit fits perfectly on the bottom rail of the Kel-tec KSG. It is not in the way like a front handgrip and gives added leverage when racking the slide in both directions. It is easy to mount and remove if necessary.

Lightweight, ergonomic, modern design, and affordable. The Magpul XTM Hand Stop Kit is easy to install and take off as needed but stays put until you're ready to move it. If I only have one criticism, it's that my hands are too big to use this kit without attaching an extra Magpul enhanced XTM panel between the two stops. I bought two of these, and one pack of the reinforced panels and I was able to deck out two rifles. These provide a much-needed indexing point on the bottom of my free float rails and keep my hands from being cheese-grated. I've tried many hand stops, including offerings from Gear Sector and KAC, but these are my favorite. They are a good value, you can't go wrong.
