Kensight Springfield 1911A1 Tenon Staked Ramped Front Night Sight

This Springfield tritium front night sight is a direct replacement for the Springfield 1911A1 pistol.

This sight has what is called a ramp style blade. It has a 60 degree ramp on the rear of the blade. This "snag free" profile makes it ideal for defensive shooting and holstering. This front works perfectly with any of our Elliason and Accro rear sights.

The blade is 0.210" tall x 0.118" wide and has a 0.080" tenon. The green tritium insert is made and installed by Trijicon, is 0.077" in diameter and it has a bright white outline painted around it.

Please note that this sight it made to pair with SOME of the Kensight adjustable rears. These include the Bo-Mar®, Rollo™, LPA®, and ELEVATION ONLY adjustable DAS™ (Novak®) sights. It will not work with any fixed or adjustable MIL-SPEC rears. If you have a fixed MIL-SPEC, the height required is .150" tall (Kensight will offer this size by the end of August 2017). If you have an adjustable MIL-SPEC, the front height required is a MINIMUM of .350" tall (Kensight does not offer the .350" tall front in a night sight).

BE CAREFUL ON THE INSTALL! The tritium tube inside of the sight IS GLASS and it can break.

BEFORE INSTALLATION - Inspect sight(s) immediately to verify that the tritium lamp is functioning. Any warranty claims for broken or dim tritium lamp(s) must be made prior to installation on your firearm. We will not be held responsible for breakage of tritium lamp(s) during the installation process. If you feel that the tritium lamp(s) in your sight is dim or non-functional in any way, you must contact our customer service department for warranty exchange or replacement before you attempt to install the sight, otherwise the warranty will be denied. No exceptions.
