I Guess It Depends

Determining whether these earplugs are suitable depends on the individual's ear canal. I didn't have a way to check beforehand, so I purchased a box of these earplugs without trying them first. While they do fit well initially, I found that they tend to work themselves loose, possibly due to their tapered design. Unfortunately, while at the shooting range, I inserted the narrow end first, and the earplug slipped loose, causing damage to my ear that has yet to fully heal. I plan to experiment with inserting the large end first, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. For now, I'll be sticking to my trusty Winchester ear muffs for hearing protection. I would advise against buying a whole box of these earplugs without first trying a sample for fit, or taking the time to learn how to use them properly to avoid risking hearing damage.

I didn't buy these earplugs for shooting. The truth is, I'm a very light sleeper and I've found that these earplugs are one of the few that truly cancel out noise.

I wear these earplugs to bed to avoid listening to my husband or dog snoring. They are much more comfortable in my ears compared to the ones found in the medical section of the store.
