Comfortable
I purchased these ear muffs specifically for the shooting range, and I'm pleased with their performance. They are lightweight, comfortable, and provide adequate noise reduction. One significant advantage for me is that they fit over my hearing aids. I can lower the volume on my hearing aids, wear these muffs, and still hear someone trying to get my attention. However, if your hearing aids don't have good feedback elimination, they may produce a high-pitched noise that can be quite uncomfortable when used in conjunction with these muffs.
Woman's review for shooting
Initially, I thought these ear muffs were black and gray based on the picture, but they turned out to be a deep green, which was disappointing since I wanted them to match my pink protective eyewear. :( As for their quality, they provide decent sound reduction while still allowing you to hold a conversation while wearing them. They are suitable for indoor ranges, as long as high-powered rifles are not permitted. If their insulation/sound reduction isn't at 100%, your ears might begin to ache after a few shots. They work better for outdoor ranges if you're planning on shooting anything larger than a .308. For me, shooting a .357 or a .45 is no problem, and they also worked well with my 12-gauge shotgun. These ear muffs are very comfortable, with a padded headband and ear cups that fit nicely around my ears. You can wear them for extended periods without feeling uncomfortable. However, they run small, which is fine for women, but my 6'4" boyfriend found them too tight for his ears.
Champion Traps and Targets Passive Ear Muffs
I bought these earmuffs specifically for range shooting, and I am pleased with my purchase. The muffs are incredibly comfortable to wear, and the noise reduction they provide is more than adequate. During my first use, I was in a booth adjacent to someone shooting a 12-gauge shotgun, yet my ears were entirely protected from the loud noise. The foam padding surrounding my ears was comfortable, and the headband kept the muffs securely in place without causing any discomfort even after wearing them for an hour.
Champion hearing protection
What was that? I can't hear you. I guess that is the point of these. Can't beat the price and great for the range.
