Customer Ratings & Reviews
Happy with my purchase so far
Thus far, I am content with my purchase. While I have not yet attempted to change the lenses, as I bought them primarily for use with the clear lenses, they fit comfortably and are hardly noticeable when worn. In the event that I encounter any issues when I do eventually decide to swap out the lenses, I will provide an update to this review.
rendering them useless. The interchangeable design of the Champions forced them ...
The design of the Champions shooting glasses appears to be significantly more sturdy than both the Remington T-72's and Mossy Oak glasses, particularly in the nose piece. The Remington and Mossy Oak models utilize two thin and fragile tabs of lens material as bayonets to which the nose pieces attach, resulting in vulnerability to breakage. I had personal experience with my T72's breaking right at the tab, rendering them unusable. In contrast, the Champions feature an interchangeable design that necessitates a much more durable nose piece, which is integrated with the frame, indicating that these glasses will have a longer lifespan. Even if the rubber portion of the nosepiece is damaged, the glasses remain functional with the plastic nose-piece intact. The lenses of the Champions glasses are also thicker than those of the T-72's and Mossy Oaks. The Champions have a MIL-PRF 31013 220.127.116.11 rating, while the other two are only Z87.1+ rated. Changing lenses is not difficult; simply rotate the outboard edges of the lenses upward, towards the sky if you were wearing them. While they require some force to handle, it doesn't take long to swap them out. However, if you treat them delicately, it may take longer.
