I put one of these on my sons .243WSSM. He is very unstable. It worked really well. He took his first Buck this last 09 hunting season and pulled a perfect shot at 300 yrds. This bi-pod worked flawlessly. Good product for the money.

    OK value

This is the rifle bipod I give my kids. They are solid enough and easy to set up with the boys and the nieces. I have one for each of the kids and we set up a firing line. They are not quite as solid as the Harris ones especially with a heavier recoil rifle but I can't afford to supply all the kids with the really good stuff. Champion models are pretty good value for price, only need adjusted every once in a while with deer rifles on an extended shooting session. For what it's worth I own 6+ and none have ever broken.

    impressed with this bipod

I was very impressed with the bipod for as much as I spent on it its sturdy I havent had any mechanical faller with it. But I do have a few complaints, it is very hard to adjust the bipod to the in between positions most of the time mine is either at the top or the bottom. Another thing is the padding that protects your rifle has compressed a little on one side so my scope on level ground dose not site strait up and down. It was an easy fix but can be a problem at long ranges. But I am still comfortable with using to shoot at 1000 yards. Over all works grate for what I need it fore.

    Great

I have a wide variety of weapons from 22 ,5.56, 308, 30.06 7mm mag, 338 lapua 50 BMG and 12ga slug, on AR 10,15, M1A, HK91, and several bolt platforms, which I have both used both Harris and Champion Bipods. That being said I have 6 or more Champion on my weapons and 2 Harris. In my opinion they are both great and way better than anything else on the market. If you have a stable shooting platform and the bipod is mounted properly to the weapon, there is no difference between the two bipods. I have average .25 to .50 MOA at 100 yards most of the time with either bipod. Actually I feel like I have wasted my money on the 2 Harris bipods I own when I could have bought 2 Shooters Ridge bipods and used the extra money saved for ammunition or optics. The shooter also has alot to do with how well the bipod works. If the Harris bipod's float your boat get one, other wise you can't go wrong with the Champion bipod either for a lesser price, and use the money saved on other accessories!

    am loving it

I've got one of these bipod on my tacticalized 10/22 and am loving it. Initially, I was having trouble with the leg pivot nuts loosening... but a little blue locktite solved that. These are EXACT copies of Harris... pretty sure the plans were drawn up with a Harris BP on the drawing table. They are a bit lighter weight than Harris. I've got 2 Harris bipods and the only reason I prefer them over this Rockmount is because they say "Harris" on them. The Rockmount is functioning just as well.

    Bipod was easy to mount

Bipod was easy to mount, steady when shooting, feels very solid. Love the quick return legs, some cheaper rifle bipods do not have this feature. Will buy again if I need one, but is very easy to take on and off with one thimb screw so it may be a while. Might just get a different height.

Is it as good as a Harris Bipod?

    4 out of 5

Is it 100% as good as a Harris Bipod? Heck no - but it depends on what it is used for; 22LR or macho Man '308' and upwards. This bi-pod is well made, readily adjustable, finish is as good as Harris as is the overall rigidity and dependability. The complaints about "screws backing out" is minor, since even with the Harris it is prudent to use a tad of Lock-Tite on all bolts, nuts, screws and washers that one does not want coming loose at a critical moment. This is NOT a big issue; it is more laziness on the part of the buyer / end user when checking it over and / or assembling. I surely would NOT degrade the product due to "user stupidity" when thinking that every threaded portion of the unit is perfectly installed and tightened to a reasonable torque. Vibration will surely loosen ANY nut / bolt combination is steps are not taken to remedy the situation BEFORE it becomes an issue. Admittedly, leg adjustment is "slightly less convenient" than with my Harris, however, with a bit of practice and common sense this unitwill function just fine and appears well enough constructed that many long YEARS (not "months") of use can be expected. Paying the extra $ is, for the majority of users, NOT necessary in order to hang a Harris on their firearm.Definitely recommend this product - without reservations beyond the minor points noted above.Good shooting!

Mounted this Champion bipod on a ruger 10/22 with 17 mach 2 bull barrel. Very easy to install. It proved very well, and sturdy on gun range. Very good product for the price and workmanship of unit

    I was skeptical

I was skeptical about the quality until my shipment arrived. Once at the range I gave it the full treatment. 223, 270, 30-06, 300 RSAUM, 338 and no problems. I then attached it to my TC Encore rifle, it did work. But since there isnt much stock in front of the sling stud.. I had to retighten the bipod after each 20 minute shooting session. Also, if I adjusted one of the legs to level the rifle and then tightened down the dial lock (located on each leg), one shot and I had to re-level and re-lock. It couldnt handle the bounce of the recoil. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a lower cost alternative.

    perfect budget rifle bipod

I have a Harris Bipod on my M14 and it works great. That being said, I bought this one for my 10/22 and it's almost exactly the same. Other reviewers have been saying that the differences are true, but on big guns. On my 10/22 it is the perfect budget rifle bipod. On anything up to a .223 this thing is as steady as a rock, and functions perfectly, but if you have a .30-06 or a .300 Win. Mag. don't cheap out, realize that you're going to need the slightly better version.

you cant go wrong with this rifle bipod

I bought one of the Champion bipods thinking it would be of lower quality because of the price. When I got it, I was very impressed with how well it is made and how well it works. I showed it to several of my friends. We ordered seven more! I Sill would say Harris Bipods are better but a 1/3 the cost you cant go wrong.
