Ordered the B-5 systems stock. Fair price, reasonable shipping and shipped within 2 days. This stock is pretty solid and it's not a lightweight. It's more appropriate for a target/tactical/PRS style rifle. I did think the cheek riser needs to have about a half inch more elevation. I'm using medium rings and it's still too short to get proper head positioning.

just for the record, my black one that just arrived has STEEL QD inserts, not plastic as somebody else said. Apparently there are 3 sizes, and the size refers to the length of the cheek-piece riser. you have to choose the length correctly to allow for charging handle travel. If you get the long cheek riser, and you're using an AR-10, you will have problems with the riser preventing you from being able to pull the charging handle all the way to the rear to lock it back. The -1304 is the MEDIUM-length riser, which is the correct length for the AR-15, i.e., with the stock fully collapsed, the charging handle can be pulled fully to the rear to lock it back without bumping into the cheek riser. I'm guessing, for the AR-10, you need the SHORT riser, -1400 in black. Guessing, since I don't have a -1400 to try out with my AR-10.

I was skeptical about this purchase. However I couldn't be more pleased with the product! The AR stock is solid, no rattles or sloppiness. The cheek piece was a concern but totally unfounded. I am very happy about this order!!

Despite the similarity in appearance this is not the same size or weight as the PRS Gen 3. It is the size, approximate weight, style as a SOPMOD or MOE -SL. The cheek riser and adjustable recoil pad work well for its size. The adjustment knobs are made of polymer not metal. If this is used for CQB it would be serviceable. For long distance precision style shooting the fit is too loose on the carbine receiver extension. This appears to be by design. There are spring loaded ball bearings set into the inside of the stock where it comes in contact with the carbine buffer. This allows quite a bit of movement.

Fantastic AR stock for precision shooting. Can be adjusted to be shorter than fixed precision stocks without giving up any features. Unfortunately, B5 decided to mold the QD sling mount into the plastic. There is only a thin lip of polymer keeping your expensive precision rifle, heavy and with a scope, from dropping to the ground. There is no sling slots to mount your sling an alternate way, so you have no choice. Why they didn't go with steel or, at the minimum, aluminum sling points is very confusing. I have to take off two stars for that, one for the plastic mount and one for not having an alternative mounting method. If that's not a deal breaker, you'll love this stock.

This is an absolutely Best precision AR stock. The amount of adjustments that can be made put it on top of my list. I put it on my 300 win mag and I think it not only has the functionality but the appearance of the part makes it all around great
