I am generally satisfied with the stock I purchased. My efforts to make the barrel float freely in the forearm did not yield the desired results, due to tension in the forearm that caused pressure on one side of the barrel. But, I achieved a centered barrel position by using the original barrel band. With this solution, the only contact point between the barrel and forearm is through the band.

I transformed my Enfield into a reliable hunting rifle by applying a weatherproof coating to the entire gun, except for the stocks. The ATI stocks were the perfect addition to complete the look and function of my rifle. Not only do they provide a snug fit, but they also give the rifle a modern appearance. Now I don't have to worry about weather conditions affecting my rifle's performance.
