A retro-styled A2 fixed ar stock that holds a 20-round magazine

This is basically a retro-styled A2 fixed ar stock that happens to hold a 20-round magazine. It has the same lighter matte black color and textured plastic buttpad as A2 stocks of old. If you wanted an A2 stock with a little more functionality, I would recommend purchasing one. They are expensive (they require a custom mold so I'm not surprised at the cost), but they are built solidly. I like the clear window so you can check to see if you have a magazine inside. The inside of the stock is a light color so you can see if there is a magazine in it or not quickly. Note that the latch for the trap door on the rear is recessed. If you have thicker fingers, you might not be able to get them in the latch. Also, the trap door only opens one way (to the right).

I bought this because I was looking for a different styled fixed stock for my new AR. The construction of this stock was excellent and reliable. However, it was a bit heavier than I wanted and the "black" was more of a charcoal grey. Also, the buttplate was not padded. The buttplate is a hard plastic type with some fairly severe tread on it. I was not happy with the feel of the stock against my shoulder and for the price of this stock, I ended up returning it for something different. The quality was good, but the coloring and feel was just not for me.
