I shoot mostly precision bolt guns and using a traditional carbine stock I needed to run a much larger rear bag due to the angle of most stocks. This solves that and provides all the fine adjustments that you need to get a consistent cheek weld and just fall behind the optic. The AR10 version has a shorter cheek piece for the clearance needed with a longer charging handle. This is where the LOP adjustment comes in handy to give you that .25" needed to keep your face on the riser. I also like the weight of this which works well when running a can to balance out the rifle.
