at first i had a quadrail with a Fortis Shift foregrip.. not this one, but the longer, full size foregrip.
Previously, I had a quadrail with a Fortis Shift full-size foregrip, but recently I switched to a 15" KeyMod handguard. When I tried to add a KeyMod rail section and the foregrip, it felt awkward and bulky. I removed it and started shooting in a "c-clamp" style, using just the low-profile handguard as a grip. While I liked the c-clamp style, it started to hurt my wrist after a while. I began searching for an AFG (angled foregrip) that would provide the benefits of a c-clamp grip without the awkward horizontal angle. That's when I found the SHIFT KeyMod Angled Foregrip. I love this brand because it's hard-use and lightweight, and this product exceeded my expectations. It gives me the comfort of an AFG and the accuracy of a c-clamp hold, and it also helps me grip the rifle better when the barrel is hot from firing
Adding a KeyMod version is smart design, and smart business move.
The decision to create a KeyMod version of the SHIFT foregrip was a smart design and business move. The SHIFT is an excellent addition to any CQB or 3Gun rifle, and the KeyMod version is more streamlined than adding a SHIFT+KeyMod Rail. It has a solid lockup and works very well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve the handling and stability of their rifle.
