AKM Romanian variant scope mount

Works great, fully adjustable, very sturdy with no wiggle. Could not be happier!!! I needed this type of scope mount for a Romanian AKM variant that came with the side mount block; not exactly sure what it is specifically called. But it worked great.

I needed a way to mount a scope on my AK, and this mount has proven to fit the bill. Unlike RS Regulate's options, these don't mar and scratch the finish as much because it doesnt slide on with a tight fit. The quick detach mechanism is great-it locks in place and won't back out. Even if you get a piece of rope under the throw lever, theres a mechanical cam lever preventing movement until it is pushed out of place. The mount can be centered on bore, mine is pushed towards the centerline all the way on my stamped receiver. Fit and Finish is good, the Midwest Industries lettering greyed out and its practically almost black, but I don't care. Really like this mount and how easy it is to get on and off the gun. I have tested the return to zero and I didn't lose zero.

If you own an AK47......or two....you know each is unique and requires custom fitting. Unlike an AR15, each gun is different. That being said, this fit like a glove after adjusting the tension to get the mount tight. Fits well on my PSA Gen 3 and Century Arms VSAR. Will be ordering a second so I do not need to move between guns. If you are on the fence, get off and buy this mount its the best on the market! I can not comment on fit on a Romanian , Yugo, Norinco or WASR10 as I already have mounts for them and see no need to test it

Keeps zero. Light weight. Easy On and off. Centered with receiver. I’m running a Romeo5 with Holosun HM3X no issue. I have no problem recommending. Very Happy.

This AK Scope mount fits my PSAK43 GF3 perfectly. The fit and finish is excellent, and the tension adjustment is a useful feature. It is also the gen 2, which means you can swap the upper portion of the mount for an optic specific mount like Acog or Aimpoint pattern. This is priced far more reasonably than RS Regulate and offers the same kind of versatility. The only downside is the bulkiness of the mounting plate compared to an RS Regulate.
