Added this to my M&P 15 and it is one of the best upgrades I made. The back strap alone is a great upgrade over the stock ar pistol grip. It has a very tacky feel to it to make sure you get the best grip with each shot. The angle of the grip is much more comfortable than the stock one and allows for better ergonomics. Overall I'm a huge fan and highly recommend this product!

This ar pistol grip mounts relatively perpendicular, ~70 degrees per my measurement. Conversely, the grips featuring a storage compartment mount at an angle of ~56 degrees. Too, the SL grip is relatively thin, ~1" measured at the bottom of the trigger guard versus ~1.125" for a grip with a storage compartment. The stippling on the SL is relatively aggressive which I prefer. My SL grip would not drop on. My guess is that the grip was removed from the injection mold while the thermoplastic was still hot. So, the ears at the top were too close together, ~.325" instead of .375". So, I easily forced the smooth shank of a letter drill ~.400" into the slot on the grip and after allowing it to sit for a few days the SL grip slid on nice and snug.... The angle of the grip reminds me of the MOE K2 but unlike the K2, the SL has the typical longer beavertail. I find this grip to be excellent, especially for short LOP and / or those who might prefer a grip with a relatively small circumference....

The Magpul SL grip has a nice slim feel with an ideal grip angle for short LOP but thinks Magpul could have figured out a way to do storage, so only four stars. Wish the SL line also included a mid-length handguard too

If you are looking for a Magpul MIAD, this is not it (nor does it claim to be). If you have large hands, keep looking. Essentially The MOE SL Grip is an improved version of the MOE-K grip. A little longer with a beaver-tail and better stippling. I think the pinky hook at the bottom front might be slightly more pronounced too. For what it is, I like it a lot, and it matches up nicely with the other Magpul MOE SL items.

This is a significant upgrade for anyone that wants to upgrade from an original AR Grip. I have put the Magpul SL grip for several years with so many different grip upgrades available from various manufacturers out there. I choose the Magpul MOE SL GRIP because it just felt better in my hand. The angle is better for holding and seems to give a better trigger pull. I have large hands, and this grip may seem a little small for someone with extra-large hands.

The MOE SL grip is so much better than A2 standard. Comfy and ergonomic. Best grip for the money

Perfect for close-quarter combat. Makes my AR15 perfect for home defense. The angle of the grip position my body close to my rifle very important in close-quarter without fatiguing my wrist. And the size makes my rifle lighter for the quick response. A must to counterattack a home invasion with higher firepower.

The Magpul SL grip is a Quick and easy upgrade to my Ruger AR556. I did not care for the geometry of the original grip. This change literally took 30 seconds and has been well worth it. Much more ergonomic handling/shooting. Purchased this with the SL buttstock and foregrip - FANTASTIC!

Love this Magpul MOE SL Grip , it is thinner then the other Magpul grips and perfect angle if you shoot with your elbow in. Used it on both my SBR and my 16". I will buy it again!
