Using this the way the pictures show might be tricky. Sometimes, the inside tracks of the gun aren't straight. But, if you take out the bolt and put the level on the back tracks, it usually works better. Then, put the other level on the top part and it's all set. It's really accurate and works well when the gun is on a stand. I've even used it with the gun just sitting on my legs."

It worked really well. It was simple to use and fit different guns and scopes, from M14 to Remington 700. I checked it with other scopes I know are straight, and this tool was just as accurate. It's a good buy for a good price.

I used this to put a Bushnell banner scope on a Siga 6.5x55 Mauser gun. The magnets can be moved around to stick to different parts of the gun. First, make the gun straight. Then, put the second level on the top part of the scope (after taking off the cap). Turn the scope until it's straight. As you tighten it, watch the level to keep it straight. One small problem was with the Banner scope. It had a tiny knob in the middle. But there was a little screw the magnet could stick to. If you want your scope to be straight with your gun, this is an easy and cheap way to do it.

This kit has two small levels with magnets. You can put them on the bottom or side. If you can't find a flat metal spot, there are sticky squares in the kit to help. Make the gun straight. Make the scope straight. Make it tight. I set up my scope in 5 minutes. It's so simple! There might be some special times when you need to think a bit more, but most of the time, this kit is perfect. It's a good buy for the price.

If you're trying to set up your scope, this tool can help a lot. You can take out the liquid parts from their holders. The tiny magnetic parts can be moved or taken off. It's weird, but when I put one on my scope and make it level, turning it shows it's not straight. I think the best way is to make the gun level, then draw a straight line on a wall and use it to set the scope's lines. It's handy to have a small level when the big ones don't fit."

The Weaver Gunsmith Modular Level System is a must-have if you want to make sure your scope lines up just right with your gun. It's simple to use. First, stick one level to the gun using the magnets or sticky parts given. Make sure the bubble in the level is in the middle. Then, make the top part of the scope a little loose. Put the second level on the top of the scope. If it's not flat, take off the cap and put the level there. Make sure the bubble is in the middle, like the first one. Once your scope feels comfy to your eye, tighten everything. Use a special tool called a borescope to check if the scope points where you want. Now, you're ready to go to the shooting range!
