This mount is awsome. Easy to install and operate. It makes the ak look sleek and makes it easy to see through the red dot without needing to adjust the stock. One thing I have a difficult time is seeing through the rear iron sights but it's awsome that one can see through and use the back up sights if the red dot is down. And adds no extra weight to the weapon. Over all just need more training time with it but works great.

This thing is awesome and well made. I ordered one here, but the package was destroyed in delivery by USPS. I contacted customer service who was more worried about applying blame. They offered a refund or a replacement. I chose the replacement. During that time I bought it from Texas Weapons directly, and it keeps my AK light and mt bullets on target.

It will co-witness with most T1 format red dot; I'm using a Holosun/Primary Arms ACSS red dot. The previous reviewer mentioned the Sig Romeo5, which, while I don't own one, an image of it has a bottom emitter. It will block the low co-witness. But any micro that doesn't have a 6 o'clock emitter will work. It is much more robust than two other of these types of rear sight mounts that I have tried. First TWS product I have owned, but they delivered as expected.

Installation was easy, until I went to tighten the mount to the mounting plate. That's where it failed, I've been doing my own gun smithing for the last forty some years and am familiar with how to properly tighten Mont screws. When I attempted to tighten the mount down it just wouldn't tighten. I pulled it back off and noticed the lip that goes under the trunnion had cracked. To me it looked like the nut plate lip had bent, upon further inspection I could see that it had cracked. It looked like a cast piece, but TWS said it was milled. They offered to send to me design nut plate that is being used on the top cover mount. I don't understand why they didn't send the updated plate to begin with seeing how the bitty mount had been on back order for over two months. In the mean I had ordered the Attero Bravo mount. It installed without a hitch on my Mini Draco. I would not recommend the bitty mount unless it comes with the new nut plate
