Awesome AR stock

This is one of my favorite adjustable ar stocks on the market. I think it fits better to the buffer tube than the popular Magpul models, while coming in at a far more competitive price. The stock looks and feels excellent. However, I recommend getting the additional rubber buttpad available for use. The standard plastic of the stock tends to slide around on my shoulder.

Good looking sold ar 15 stock nice finish but the fit was a bit flawed. When collapsed the whole way, the locking lever does not always lock in tight. Instead, it stayed depressed slightly until I giggled the stock and then it snapped in tight. This could be part of a break-in period and I'm sure it will get better with use.After all, Strike Industries makes some very nice quality products. Other than that, it has a very nice tight fit and feel and was very easy to install. I would recommend buying the Strike Industries rubber butt pad. It finishes off the whole look and feel of the stock and although it has some aggressive grip on it already it helps keep it from slipping on your shoulder.

Looks great, has a good cheek weld, and improved shouldering with rubber butt pad installed. Slight wobble on my MIL-SPEC buffer tube, but not any more than my Magpul or BCM/B5 stocks. For a minimalist stock, overall, I prefer the SI Viper Mod-1 over the MFT Minimalist, which I have since sold off.

The ar stock is wobbly on the buffer tube. Put a piece of loop side of velcro on the tube and the stock is tight and still moves. Other suggestion to the design guys - put a rubber pad on the back. Nice small butt area that would be absolutely perfect with a little grip. The stock looks great and functions otherwise. I had the stock so used it.

I paired this with the Strike industries buffer tube, so naturally, you would think the tolerances were tight. well, there was far too much wiggle and give. Making for a very loud rifle every time the two would rub together. It also needs a little more surface area or "meat" to it. The weight and concept was nice, but it didn't quite live up to the expectation.

I bought this because I was looking for AR parts: 1. Lightweight 2. Flat Dark Earth 3: Minimal in SIze This checked off all three, and it fits perfectly on my buffer tube, but it has one pretty big flaw. The Buttstock has no grippyness. It slips very easily off the shoulder and requires some fenaggling and control to keep it in proper shooting place. This isn't TOO big of an issue for an AR-15 shooting 5.56, but nevertheless, it could and SHOULD be designed better.

Although the fit is good and a good quality ar stock, it slips out of the groove of your shoulder FAR too easily. I like the design, but there is virtually no "meat" either to fit well. It also could use a little bit of a rubber pad for recoil, and the shape pretty much excludes standard after-market add-on recoil pads. The bottom line, it looks cool, but don't waste your money until they fix these issues.
