I recently purchased two of the SRA Swivel Rail Adapters by Rota Pod to replace two other units that I had purchased from a high-end shop. These other units cost around 30% more and used a nut to retain the Picatinny rail over the replacement sling stud. Unfortunately, the rail on these units constantly came loose and overtightening the nut could lead to it cracking. I decided to try the SRA Swivel Rail Adapters and have been extremely impressed with their performance. These adapters are much more secure than the other units I had tried, and the retention screws can be tightened much more than the nut setup. I would caution users to be careful not to overtighten the screws, as you don't want to pull the original sling stud out of stock. Overall, I think the SRA Swivel Rail Adapters by Rota Pod are superb and would highly recommend them. They are an excellent value and are as good as anything you can get without drilling into the stock. I was so pleased with these adapters that I ended up ordering three more for other firearms. If you're in the market for a sling stud Picatinny rail adapter, I would definitely give these a try.

I purchased the SRA Swivel Rail Adapter by Rota Pod to replace the sling stud to picatinny rail adapter that came with a bipod I had purchased. The original adapter had the attachment point to the sling stud on the end of the adapter, which created leverage on the stud and a gap between the stock and adapter when loaded in certain positions. I found this design to be very poor and potentially damaging to the stock, so I decided to invest in a better-quality adapter. I'm glad I made a choice to upgrade to the SRA Swivel Rail Adapter by Rota Pod. This adapter is rock solid and provides a stable attachment point for my accessories. I would caution other users to follow the instructions carefully and not to overtighten the adapter, as I could see this potentially ripping out the sling stud on your firearm. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the performance of the SRA Swivel Rail Adapter by Rota Pod and would highly recommend it as a sling stud rail adapter.

I just installed this on my Savage Axis-I with a Boyd Featherweight Thumbhole stock (flat bottom fore-end). It went on tightly. Boyd uses screws for the three sling mounts (not nuts and bolts), so I will see if these are want to pull out from recoil loads. I ordered the Green Blob Outdoors CNC QD bipod (clean, no springs) to attach.

I have three of these now. They mount tight and work great. Using a bipod rail helps protect the stock and allows for the purchase of one higher end bipod to easily be moved from one rifle to the next. For that I recommend Harris/Larue or Sierra 7. Mounting solutions carries this rail as well and the fit, finish and quality seem to be excellent. Product is made in the USA which I also appreciate. Rail mounts nicely to various stock contours.
