Rifle Basix L-1 Remington Trigger
General purpose hunting. 1.5 lbs. to 4 lbs. Factory adjusted to break at 2.3lbs.
Will service Remington models 700, 40X, Model 7, XR-100 and the rear grip XP-100 pistol.
Rifle Basix Remington after-market triggers feature state of the art CNC machined housings made from T6 6061 billet aluminum and are black anodized for a factory appearance. All internal levers are investment cast from A-2 tool steel, CNC machined and heat-treated for excellent wear characteristics. The levers are now electro nickel plated for extra protection and bright appearance.
Each Rifle, Basix Remington trigger, is hand-assembled, mounted on a test action, adjusted within advertised specifications, tested for proper operation and safety function before packaging. These triggers are guaranteed as long as they are in service, and maybe repaired or replaced at no charge at any time (providing they have not been modified).
Rifle Basix Remington triggers are designed for USER installation. No cutting, grinding, fitting or stock modification for adjustment screw clearance. These triggers feature wide (factory width) finger levers. Rifle Basix triggers are designed to utilize Remington's original safety levers both right and left hand. New mounting pins are shipped with each trigger.

I use this trigger in my McMillan A3-stocked Remington 700 LTR and have rarely been more pleased with any product. Rifle Basix has the finest trigger of any match-grade unit I've tried, including some costing more.

Great feeling trigger always lets go at the same time made me a better shooter with both my 308 and my 204. It only took 20 minutes to put in. I would buy another any day

It took me 1 hour to install trigger. Before you start, take a couple of pictures of the assembled trigger to use as a reference. I adjusted the trigger to a crisp 2 lb. pull. Install not simple but doable.

What an excellent trigger; I have installed several stimuli, and I have to say this is as good a trigger and easy an install as any I have done, including the jewel. I wanted to adjust the pull from the factory setting; the instructions say to call first, so I did. I know how to do this, but I called anyway just to see what kind of service I might get and or make sure this one was not different in any way from the others I have done, and I didn't want to void the warranty in any way so, sure enough, the man I spoke to was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. (website gives a number you can call Anytime) Excellent customer service, and it took me about 15 mins to install (very easy) Rem. Safety fit like a glove, as did the drift pins, I didn't have to polish or remove any material for safety engagement or bolt travel, trigger body fits receiver better than the factory one, the trigger is 5/16 wide with deeper contact grooves than the factory one, this trigger performs as good or better than any other I have used including those higher-priced, no travel (crisp) easily adjustable pull weight (I set mine @ 2 lb 6oz) Your just not going to beat this trigger for a hunting rifle guys(and gals). You can't beat the service, and it's guaranteed for life. Passed the drop test quickly with safety disengaged. This is an excellent trigger.

Oh my Gosh! What a fine piece of gear! The trigger on my 700VS is now incredibly light (yet still within what I would consider safe). Another reviewer stated that the safety is easier to move, I concur. It's quieter now too. Installation was not overly difficult and was completed in less than 30 minutes by a non-gunsmith with decent mechanical inclination (me).

The best varmint rifle trigger I have by far. If you can change the oil in your car- you can install this trigger. The pins that come out of the original trigger have to be resized with a drill and sandpaper, 340 grit, and that takes the longest time to get them right—otherwise a straight forward installation. I would suggest taking pictures of the factory trigger BEFORE you take it out so that you can reinstall the safety parts correctly. While a basic, quality trigger, it works beautifully. Tools I used: hammer, drift pin (nail would do), needle nose pliers, drill, 340 sandpaper, and a nickel worth of patience. It is most definitely worth the money and the time. I would buy one again and most likely shortly.

The Rifle Basix trigger was easy to install as advertised, but be very alert as to how the safety and bolt release are attached. New trigger breaks crisp and lite, improved my model 7 tremendously!!!

Smooth, creep-free, and wide contact area on the finger (unlike the Timney). It was installed in 10 minutes with no special tools. Factory safety is a bit easier to move back and forward now. Breaks cleanly at 1.5lbs on my Sendero SSF 300RUM. This is a must have.

You know its' right when the first 10 sear breaks catch you by surprise. Crisp "breaking glass", no creep or over-travel, and feels really Great...WOW! I Received the Remington 700 Action Rifle Basix L-1K trigger yesterday. Following the simple and straight forward Remington 700 Install Video (found on the RB website), I had it installed in 15 minutes with no problems. My requested L-1 1.5# setting works Superbly. I'll be taking my new custom .30-06 out to the range for barrel, action, trigger break-in and load ballistics testing. With this L-1 Rifle Basix trigger installed, I'm sure to get the best that this rifle is capable of shooting. Now, if I can just fix the uncontrollable variable...Me!
