Fits: Most 12, 16 and 20 Ga and .410 pump shotgun barrels. Heatshields should not be used on Mossberg Mariner or Remington Marine Coat Shotguns. This will only fit if the barrel lug is more than 13.5″ from the receiver.

I am bough this for my Mossberg Shockwave due to some of the other reviews. I love the look, and it does fit the short 14-inch barrel but the only issue I encountered is that the two screws that hold down the heatshield in place get in the way of the screw end cap for the shell cartridges, so I was only able to use the top screw and had to buy a 1/4 inch more giant screw to get it to reach. My advice would be to remove the from bead site unless you really need it. I left my front bead site on and feel the heatshield would fit even better if either I remove the bead or drill the hole in the heatshield a little bit bigger which I will probably do in the future. I will also probably cut away the second hole closest to the cap and either make a new hole closer to the front screw or just see if the one screw will do the job. With a little update to the heatshield this could be the perfect Mossberg shockwave heatshield.

I installed the ATI heat shield to my Mossberg 590 with no problems; well I did have to trim the front some so I could reinstall the mag tube cap. Other than that, it fits perfectly and dresses up the shotgun, gives it a finished look. I highly recommend it.

Yes, this does fit the 20 gauge without and mods. The only thing you have to do is screw on the mag tube cap while you’re sliding the barrel back in place. The same goes for removal; both must be done together. Great quality heat shield at an excellent price!

Heatshield looks great fit Winchester 1300 no problems, does work with Mossberg 835 but is a tight fit and can use only one screw on the front portion of the heat shield, had to buy a longer screw for the 835.

Won’t scratch your barrel if you’re careful and take your time installing it. The instructions are a little vague, but it’s simple enough to figure out. I have to do a little more bending on it to get it to clear the forend.

Looks good on my shockwave. It didn’t go over the barrel like a glove, but I made it work. I will do a mod on it in the near future because the cap interferes with the bottom screw. Nonetheless, I’m please with my new and improved shockwave.

I just installed this on a Maverick 88 Security. Required just a bit of tweaking, but what aftermarket part doesn’t for that matter. This fits great, looks great, and works great. Looking to get another to but on a Mossberg 500 Persuader.
