I assembled a lightweight AR-15 for a 3-gun competition and this stock added the perfect touch. It not only looks great, but it also fit seamlessly with no wobbling on a Primary Weapons buffer tube. Additionally, the stock moves smoothly without damaging the finish. The investment in this stock was well worth the money.

The MFT Battlelink Aluminum Minimalist Stock has impressive features, but unfortunately, mine arrived with a misassembly issue. Despite being everything I wanted in a stock, I had to deduct one star due to the problem I encountered. It seems that I am not the only one who experienced this as other comments on YouTube also reported similar issues. It is imperative that Mission First Tactical improves their Quality Assurance process to prevent these problems from happening in the future. Here is a solution to the problem: The adjustment lever did not go all the way in, preventing the installation of the stock on the buffer tube as the stock's locking positional pin did not clear the buffer tube. To fix this issue, you will need an Allen wrench, forceps, and a bright headlamp. Start by removing both adjustment screws with the Allen wrench, being careful not to let the spring fly out. Place the body of the stock on its back with the butt section facing you and the tip facing your chin. Press the front of the adjustment lever to expose the inside of the stock body. Shine the headlamp into the rear part of the stock, locate the cavity for the spring, and use the forceps to place the spring into the cavity. There is also a cavity in the adjustment lever, which you can't see. Adjust the spring's position so that it goes into the cavity of the adjustment lever. Tilt the stock towards you to help the spring fall backward and be positioned correctly. Once the spring is in place, immediately put in the front screws to secure it. After these steps, the level arm should be able to be depressed enough for the stock's positional pin to clear the buffer and be installed.

The MFT Battlelink Aluminum Minimalist Stock is a visually appealing and robust addition to your AR-15. There is no movement in this stock and it provides a tight and secure fit. However, the fit was so tight that I had to apply oil to the buffer tube to move it into place. Unfortunately, mine arrived without instructions, and I had to remove the larger Allen head screw above the actuator button to create enough space to install it on the buffer tube. After applying oil, the stock moved freely on the buffer tube. I did not tighten the screw completely when reassembling, as fully tightening the two screws creates an even tighter fit. Once you have found the right position, you can tighten the screws even more, but rest assured, this stock will not budge or wiggle at all.
