Great just like you'd expect from magpul
I got this Magpul moe rail to mount a flashlight on my AR. I have the MOE Magpul handguards, and this installed in about 5 mins the hardest part was taking the handguards off and digging out the right Allen wrench form my toolbox. It is excellent and fits the generic flashlight mount I have correctly. And It is made from a polymer, so it doesn't add any noticeable weight.
awesome all around!
Amazing seller all around! Great product, mounted correctly to my Sig Sauer M400 with the Magpul stock and foregrip, I ordered this item almost two days AFTER ordering a forward grip from another website and received this item before! I will buy from this seller again, would have given him six stars if there was an option!
The ultimate way to attach a rail for custom works.
I love this Magpul moe rail section. It was used to attach an accessory rail to the bottom of the barrel shroud of my Daisy 617X pellet pistol, which has no tracks or weaver mounts whatsoever. This item is adamant polymer gun grade quality, which allowed me to cut it down to proper size allowing for a screwed and glued attachment to the barrel shroud. It works correctly, holding my laser red dot site and TAC lite-on firmly.
met my expectations
Very sturdy. Bought 2 of these to go on my Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS rail. I matched up against one end with the tapped hole in the Midwest, and the other I had to use the supplied screw and backing to use a more extended slot in the Midwest. It was a little tricky to hold the Magpul backplate still while I screwed in the screw, but the total installation was less than 5 minutes for two sections. Always been a fan of Magpul, and these rails met my expectations. I'll post pictures when I can.
Exactly what you would expect.
Magpul moe rail was exactly what you expect to receive. Installed quickly and seems to be holding up exceptionally well. Fitted my Grip Pod front grip on it with ease.
Magpul Always makes a good product
I own several Magpul accessories and have never been disappointed. Clean well made products that always perform great, and this rail is no different. The Product was just as advertised and is great for adding any accessories to your AK or AR platform Rifle.
After buying my new S&W M&P15 MOE, I purchased two of these to add on rails. The installation wasn't difficult at all, and the hardest part was pulling down the delta ring, and I would suggest buying a delta ring tool to save your hand. I would say this is a decent lower rail since it still gives you some room on the edges encase your attachments need to slide on, like my "UTG Deluxe Ergonomic Foregrip, Black." But for the side attachments, I would get a bigger model so you can go wild. I'll post some pictures later.
Magpul MOE polymer rail sec. 9 slot
I installed the Magpul MOE polymer 9 slot rails on my Magpul MOE AR15/M16 mid-length hand guard. I had to bevel the bottom edge to allow furthest foreward flat mounting on the guard. Holding the inside tab for the assembly screw requires a small wrench as the tab rotates easily and prevents tightening. The assembly (slots and hand guard) would NOT assemble to my 50 Beowulf upper assembly. First - file off 3 full threads from the assembly screws. The screw ends hit the upper lip of the heat shield on the hand guard and prevent the sheild from sliding inside the barrel area. Second - mount the tabs with the raised thread extrusion away from the barrel (mount towards the hand guard ) or file them flush with the tab. Third - bend the heat shield lip straight up in the area where the tabs will pass by the heat shield. Bend only the 1/4 inch high x 1/2 inch wide area of the heat shield that the tabs must pass by. I had to move my YMS iron front sight one slot foreward as the top hand guard hit on the width of the sight. Assembly complete and works great.
