Leupold ultimate slam scope

I mated the scope with my 20 gauge 1187 deer barrel, and they are a perfect fit for each other. BDC marks are right on for the 1700fps Fusion sabots I'm shooting. Not many shots past 100yds in Iowa, but sometimes you need it, and this scope brings it. The combo brought home the fresh meat this year - 170#, 8 pt with a single well-placed shot at 90 yds!

I mounted the VX-Freedom Leupold muzzleloader scope to my 20ga 1187 cantilevered deer barrel and could not be happier for the two of them. It is as if they were meant for each other. The UltimateSlam reticle matched well with several sabots out to 100yds, so I was very confident when we celebrated the union during the past Iowa gun season, resulting in a very nice 180# 8pt at 90yds. This scope is a keeper.

I bought a new CVA Accura with scope mounts attached. I Bought Leupold scope with SABR reticle. Anxious to sight in a muzzleloader. Have several Leupold scopes, would not buy anything else.

I mounted mine on a 20gauge 1187 with the cantilevered barrel, and it has been an ideal match when using 1500-1600 fps sabots. Sighted in at 50yds, and the second dot is dead-on at 100. In Iowa, we don't often shoot beyond 100yds, but I am confident this scope will be my meal ticket if I do.
