Does what it is made for—caution against using this one on a AR platform because it is too low. You'll want to get the one made for AR pic rails specifically. This is for a medium profile combed rifle stock. I used this on my marlin 1894 lever gun that came with a pic rail—it worked great.

This DeltaPoint Pro Rail Mount functions great but this time, I think Leupold overbuilt this one. It is about twice as thick as need be, this causes installed height to be a little high, and if weight is a concern, this might not be your mount.

This mount is well made. You can mount it either way (cross bolt head on either side of the rail), and it provides the proper height for a full co-witness with Troy micro flip-up sights - which is a plus on an AR pistol. I believe ADM is making a mount for the DP Pro (I also think their AD-TR mount will work, but it may be a bit short). Regardless, Leupold's cross slot mount is fine and works well. You need to find it cheap!
