Kensight M1 Garand Fiber Optic Front Sight

This Kensight Front Rifle Sight for the M1 Garand is a high quality, drop-in replacement for the factory original unit. The front sight incorporates a bright, light-gathering Fiber Optic Rod that naturally draws the shooter's eye to the front Post for quicker initial sight acquisition and faster sight recovery from shot-to-shot.
This front sight features the traditional protective steel ears on either side of the front Post and is easily installed by sliding it onto the gas tube's dovetail and tightening the included screw. Wire-EDM machined from 4140 Chrome Moly Steel and heat-treated to a hardness of RC 38-40 for long-lasting durability.

I have trouble seeing open sights, so I have converted many of my guns to fiber optic sights over the past few years. I saw this site on line and ordered it. It was effortless to install and is an exact replacement of the original.

My brother and I shoot our M1 Garands at the range every week. This front sight installed in a jiffy and helped us to improve our groups instantly! When you get old, anything to help you see open sights is well worth the price! I would recommend this item highly!

With older eyes, I find the fiber optic a suitable option for visibility. It is made to replace an M1 Garand sight. I wish there were the same thing for an M14/M1A. it works and serves its purpose on an M1A but it would be nice to have a sight that matched the size of the M1
