Good job y'all. It was priced right, arrived quickly, came with good installation instructions and works great. I can finally field strip my Glock without chewing the skin off my thumb and index finger with the original takedown lever.

I was skeptical after seeing pictures, but I was greatly mistaken. The difference is not due to the length of the extension, but rather the angle it provides. This is significantly better than the factory version. I have installed this in both of my Glocks."

If you find the factory slide lock challenging to pull down due to its limited protrusion, this modification is essential. I'm surprised that Glock doesn't include these with every pistol. The process is simple: just press down the keeper and the original lock will drop out, then the extended one can be easily inserted. The added extension allows for a secure grip every time.

This glock extended slide lock are a must-have! They work exceptionally well in breaking down your Glock. I used to struggle with holding down the slide lock and moving the slide to remove it. The taper cut allows for better grip on the lock and the deep cuts effectively activate the slide lock. I started with two of these to test their performance and now all my Glocks have them. Installing them is incredibly easy, simply press down the old slide lock using a small Allen wrench, then slide in the new one. The entire process takes only 5 seconds and makes breaking down your Glock a breeze. This is a fantastic product for your Glock.

If you, like me, suffer from arthritis in your hands or numbness in your fingertips, this device provides just enough extra metal to make slide removal a breeze. The upgrade takes less than a minute and only requires a tool small enough to press the retention/activation spring. Numerous videos on YouTube demonstrate how to do the upgrade. It greatly enhances the enjoyment of owning a Glock.

These make slide removal ten times easier compared to the factory piece, which is too narrow. Installing them is also effortless. Replacing the OEM part with this one is definitely worth it."

This is an excellent improvement - it makes removing the slide much easier than the factory version. The additional few millimeters may not seem significant, but they make a huge impact. I don't understand why Glock doesn't use this design. It fit perfectly on my Glovk 17. To install, simply remove the slide, depress the retention spring using a punch or screwdriver, remove the old one, and slide in the new one. The entire process takes only 30 seconds.
