I've previously reviewed the standard cam loader for handguns which caters to the 9mm and .40 calibers. The rifle cam loader, on the other hand, is impressive due to its adaptability; it accommodates AR, AK, and other varieties like the 9mm and 308 mags. This loader's standout feature is its ability to load multiple rifle magazines, including popular ones like Magpul pmags. Using it is straightforward. The loader can sit atop any magazine, irrespective of size, thanks to its adjustable slots. For instance, the AR-15 uses a slot at the back, while the 308 mags use a larger slot at the front. Its versatility extends to even unconventional ammo packages; however, ammo in trays is the easiest to use. Demonstrating with the 300 blackout, I simply placed the loader on the magazine and swiftly pushed in the rounds. In real-time, this entire process is lightning fast, saving both time and the hassle of manual loading. The 9mm and 7.62x39 rounds were as efficient. The loader's system was adaptable to various magazines, including metal ones. For ammo in surplus bags or boxes, you can load rounds one by one, akin to a stripper clip. This isn't as speedy as using trays, but it's still faster than manual loading. I did find the 308 rounds to be a bit more challenging due to tighter fits, but with some perseverance, they loaded up fine. In conclusion, for those with ARs, AKs, or 9mm carbines, this loader is a gem. While it's perfect for rifles, it might not be the best for pistols, especially with certain feed lips. The only real hiccup was with the 308 rounds due to their tight fit. Priced at around $30 online, the ETS cam loader offers value, especially when considering its lifetime guarantee and its USA-made badge. If you often find yourself loading multiple magazines, this tool could be a game-changer.

I bought this loader and the MagLula 223 loader. This loader is a little larger than the MagLula, but it loads a bit faster. I use this loader at home to pre-load the magazines before going to the range. I take the MagLula to the range because it is smaller, and I usually do not load mags. I ordered one of each, and the rifle was terrific right out of the package. Even after following the oiling instructions on the pistol loader, it was very tight for the first 3 or 4 mags but then loosened up. These things are great, and I have already recommended them to all of my shooter friends. Well worth the money !!!!!

I am amazed how good and how fast the thing works with Evo magazines. 30 rds get loaded in secs. Much faster than the maglulu, which is a great product as well.

Love this ETS loader... one of the long ranges I shoot at has a 5 round max in a magazine. With the c.a.m. universal loader for rifles I simply scoop up 5 rounds from the box and pop them into the mag, 20-30 seconds and I am ready to fire again

Excellent universal loader for rifles, significantly speeds up loading, unlike any other loader out there. Well worth the money, now I just need one for 45app/10mm.

Save your thumbs and save your precious time and just buy a ETS cam rifle loader now! Absolutely worth every penny and makes loading up mags a breeze! Can't recommend these enough to anyone who shoots more than once a year.

The ETS universal loader is awesome! Much easier to fill up magazines without hurting my thumbs. I stopped thinking about my order, and before you know it, the loader came. My thumbs thank you & I do too!

Even after reading the instructions for placing a drops of oil in specified locations, I was not impressed with how hard it was to feed 10 rounds into a 10 round magazine. I then took a 1 inch patch with my favorite CLP (StrikeHold) and lubed the entire channel and all the surfaces down near where the magazine mates- that made all the difference in the world for me. I like the design of the ETS loader a lot. Once I lubed the channels, it was easy loading rounds from my MTM blue 100 round containers too. At my last range visit, this device drew a crowd of amazed shooters. I had an extra C.A.M. in my car and wound up selling it to one of these people. My only beef with this device is that it's a little big for a smaller range bag. That's not a big deal with me, but is to other folks who checked out the device.

I bought the c.a.m. universal loader for rifles and after I got the hang of it. It cut my reloading time down almost 2/3 the time it usually took to reload my magazines at the range. I love it and won’t reload my mags any other way from now on.

I was worried about the ETS loader being plastic but thousands of rounds later look great and performs like new.

I love this loader and I’m glad I made this purchase. It’s soo easy to load up a mag in a matter of seconds.
