ZSM Elzetta Tactical Shotgun Flashlight Mount
The Elzetta ZSM Tactical Shotgun Flashlight Mount is designed to work with a number of weapons including, but not limited to the following;
- Benelli M1, Benelli M2, Benelli M4, Benelli Nova (Does NOT fit SuperNova)
- Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 590A1, Mossberg 835, Mossberg 930 SPX (does not fit Mossberg .410 models)
- Remington 870, Remington 1100, Remington 1187
- Winchester Defender and many more
If the shotgun as 1 -3/4” of free space on the magazine tube or barrel, it should work with the Elzetta ZSM.
The Elzetta Shotgun Mount comes with sizing adaptors which provide this Shotgun Mount with the ability to hold flashlights from .7 to 1.05” in diameter. This means that you can use flashlights from popular brands that include the following;
- InForce
- Laser Devices
- Pelican
- Streamlight
- SureFire and more
The sizing adaptors are not required if you are using a 1” light such as the Elzetta ZFL-M60.
The Elzetta Shotgun Mount is designed for 12 gauge shotguns and uses gauge adaptors that can modify its use for 20 gauge as well as .410 shotguns (does not fit Mossberg .410 models). It can be mounted to either the left or the right side of the shotgun to accommodate left or right handed shooters.
Crafted from advanced glass-filled polymer, this material has already been well tested on the Elzetta ZFH1500 Flashlight Mount that is used for AR15 rifles. This material provides incredible durability, impact and scratch resistance and is very lightweight while being resistant to high temperatures, many different chemicals and vibrations.
There are heavy duty quick disconnect Sling Swivel Kits that are available for the ZSM Shotgun Flashlight Mount. In fact, each kit offers an industry-standard QD Sling Swivelthat is mounted in the low profile position opposite to the flashlight itself. All Elzetta products are designed, created, and made in the USA using materials, tooling, and labor all from America.

I haven't seen a more durable shotgun flashlight mount system for the weight. The instructions were easy to follow, and installing was a breeze. Be sure to pay attention to the spacers that are included. Your shotgun may need spacers installed for the flashlight itself or the attachment to the shotgun tubes. Four beefy bolts keep this system together, and the majority of the item is sturdy plastic.

This shotgun flashlight mount works great. I bought the wrong one. I would have preferred a more natural dismount method just for the sake of disassembly and cleaning, but this mount works so well, I can't be mad at it. Taking a recommendation I saw in another review, I paired this with a Streamlight Polytac on my Maverick 88, and I couldn't be happier. The polytac weighs next to nothing and is plenty bright. Another product I use with this setup is the Truglo Home Defense Fiber Optic Sight that snaps onto the barrel behind the bead. It has worked out well for me for late-night varmint control around the house. If you're having trouble finding a flashlight mount for your shotgun, give the elzetta shotgun mount a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

After trying another clamp-on light mount, I was highly frustrated, and then I purchased this shotgun flashlight mount from Elzetta. What a world of difference!!!! You can tell that Elzetta put in time and effort with this mount. From the additional ribs for smaller gauge shotguns to the steel hardware used for mounting, this clamp was the best and easiest to install when mounting a Streamlight Pro-Tac light to my Winchester 1300 8 shot Defender. The hardest part was settling on its exact final mount spot. In my case, I located it roughly 1 1/2" forward of the pump grip, and on the left side as a natural extension of the thumb activates the light's tail-cap switch. Elzetta is THE way to go!!!

I tried a couple of other more expensive mounts before, and they either failed or didn’t fit. The Elzetta shotgun mount is Excellent. Although it is made of plastic, the quality is stout and robust...I admit that I took a few taps with a hammer to move it, and it didn’t move, should handle recoil very well. Was easy to mount.

After trying another clamp-on light mount, I was very discouraged and then bought Elzetta ZSM Shotgun Flashlight Mount. What a difference! You can tell right away that Elzetta put in time and effort with this mount. There are adapters ribs for smaller gauge shotguns and steel hardware used for mounting; this clamp was the best and most straightforward to install when mounting a Streamlight Pro-Tac light to my Winchester 1300 8 shot Defender. The most difficult part was deciding on the final mount spot.
