Now come with #6-48 and #8-40 screws. The head diameter on the #6-48 screws provided with this mount is larger than our normal #6-48 screws.

If you have a lightweight rifle (carbon barrel, lightweight stock, etc. typically under 6.5 lbs) that is drilled and tapped for #6-48 screws AND you are using a heavy scope (Vortex Razor, Nightforce, etc.) AND you have a magnum caliber, we recommend drilling your mount and receiver for a recoil pin. We have recoil pins available upon request. We also recommend using our Hunter or Heavy Duty Series Bases.
