Installed on a 91/30 Mosin. Zeroed fairly quickly and held zero. The only problem kick is so tremendous on the gun simply tightening the scope on to the dovetail under the rear sight was not enough ( the scope began to walk forward). I fixed by drilling a small hole into the dovetail and using a stop pin. Very durable scope, they have already shot 400+ rounds through my Mosin with the scope.

Proper scout scope for my Mosin. Looked at this one and the similar 2-7x42(43?) scope, chose this one. Got some high rise mounts from dicks and all worked well, didn't have to make any modifications other than floating off the iron sights on the Mosin. Buddy got the bigger one; both are accurate at about 150 yards.

Perfect set up for my Mosin Scout project, Mounted it with Accushot mid-profile rings. I had to remove the original sight base; then, this set up fit correctly. Use Loctite!! It was accurate and still has not come loose after a little over 100 rounds. I would recommend this set up for any Mosin owners.

I just bought this scope and installed it on my m44 Mosin and even tested, just perfect for the money. The booklet that came with, pictures are for another model, and I had to find out myself that was not difficult.

I sighted in at 200 yds and shot 80 rounds; the scope held its zero. I like the crisp, clear view; of course, the scope does not come with parallax adj. or focus adj. so you can't read med. Size text at 200 yds. Overall, the scope, because of the price, deserves a five-star review. I'm happy with the scout set up, but make sure you buy 1-inch scope rings and attach it directly to the dovetail under your rear sight. Just search "1-inch scope rings Mosin" here on amazon and buy the ncstar. Put some Loctite on the base and screws, and it will hold. If you have questions on how I was successful with my set up.

I bought this rifle scope for my Mosin. Removed the pins from the rear sight (one of which was a challenge as it was stuck pretty good), and used Leapers 3/8" Dovetail rings to mount it. I made sure I used locktight on all screws to make sure none of them would back out over time. I went out to the range and zeroed it in at 50 yds after that shot pretty good groups at 100 yds. No complaints. This works well, especially considering the price. I have had no problems at all and would highly recommend it.
