I needed a new stock to adjust the length of pull on my Civet 12, which is a magazine fed clone of a Remington 870. I've used accessories from FAB Defense, and it is a stellar brand, but their quality comes with a price. Completely understandable. I was not looking to invest too much in a new stock, as my Civet 12 is a cheap platform. When I came across this, it looked to be what I was looking for. Working through MSP was a breeze. I had ordered two stocks, one for myself and another for a friend who was looking to upgrade his Remington platform. They emailed me to make sure the second order was not made in error, and promptly shipped my order. The installation of this aftermarket stock was very simple, but it would be good to have some instructions for those who are not gunsmith savvy. Once installed, the difference in handling my Civet 12 was night and day. After getting a butt pad for recoil and a pistol grip cover, my home defense shotgun feels complete and I'm finally comfortable with handling it. If you have a cheaper shotgun of the Remington 870 pattern and are looking to fix the length of pull on a budget, this is the stock you want.

Price: More than fair for what you're getting, in my opinion. Quality: I paid roughly $40 for an AR-15/M4 style stock with pistol grip included, haven't had a chance to run it, but it feels plenty good, especially for $40. Shipping: Fast enough, maybe a week. Overall, satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to friends, time will tell but I have no doubts about the quality of the product, especially for such a great deal. Will us Mounting Solutions Plus again.

Installed on my Remington 870 police model quick and easy. Locks up well, shortened length of pull from stock about 4" in the fully collapsed position, when all the way extended its the same length as the original. Keep in mind no buffer or pad so its not going to smooth anything out, but the reduced length of pull helps a ton for maneuverability and control. Attached sling mount is sturdy.
