NICE scope rings
I tried these weaver quad lock rings on an inexpensive scope (3-9x40) for my flattop AR-22. The scope has a 40mm objective lens and clears with these rings. I had to use some 1/2" risers to get a comfortable height. Overall, Im super happy w these rings.
Best bang for the buck in it's class
I have used quite a few of these weaver quad lock rings for different applications, and I have yet to have one move or slip after installation. I've used them on several calibers from 22lr to larger center-fire, such as 30-06. Nope, they're not Leupold or any other big name that I use on my primary hunting rifle, but they are my favorite "budget" ring.
weaver 49046 quad lock rings
Everyone I speak to swears by Weaver, and they've never let me down. These are great rings at an excellent price. Never understood why people spend 10x on rings when you can buy quality weaver rings at a fraction of what others charge.
Weaver Quad lock rings have good clearance for the objective lens over the barrel
I did exactly what I wanted to do. I have attached a Nikon 4-12x40 ProStaff scope to one of my Ruger 10/22's. Good clearance for the objective lens over the barrel and rings left enough play along the scope to give plenty of options for setting eye relief. I originally got these for the quick change feature to use on my Takedown 10/22 but ended up putting them on my standard model. Because there are eight screws to dog down, you want to take your time and exercise some patience as you aim for even tightening all around the scope. Also though the rifle is just a rimfire, the scope rings held up well over the first couple hundred rounds put through the gun. In sum, I found nothing not to like, including the price.
weaver quick detach scope rings
I used these weaver quad lock rings to attach a Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 to my Remington 597 .22 LR using a Weaver base. These rings come with the required hex wrench to fasten your scope. Set up was quick and easy--with the dual straps and four screws, my scope feels like it is solidly in place. In theory, one could thumb tighten the side attachment screws (for quick removal), but I would recommend giving a firm 1/8th round twist with a wide flat-head screwdriver, just for security's sake. These rings are inexpensive, but not "cheap," they perform well, and I wouldn't expect any slippage, especially with small caliber rifles. I gave this item four stars simply because the product is aluminum and not steel. These rings may not hold up to rough and tumble play outside because of that. But, these are great rings for target shooting and plinking, or even keeping the garden clear of rabbits.
Quality Weaver quad lock scope rings
Used the weaver quad lock rings on a new 223 14" barrel with Weaver base on old TC Contender. This is a lovely set of rings, high enough I can get at the hammer — Weaver makes quality stuff.
My weaver quad lock rings review
I have a set of these weaver quad lock rings on my Savage 22-250, and they really seem to do an excellent job of holding the scope straight and true. They are very easy to set up and align, I have been shooting this rifle for over a year now, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent set of rings, at a great price.
My Weaver Quad Lock Rings Review
In a word? TUFF! Very easy to install and even easier to mount a scope in. Virtually no crosshair alingment problems! Comes with it's own wrenches too!
Weaver Quad Lock Rings hold very securely
I use the Weaver quad lock rings on all my hunting rifles. They fit the base mount well and hold the scope very securely. The double strap keeps well even with magnum loads. A wrench is included for mounting. The scope rings come in different heights to accommodate the scope.
