Exactly what I wanted to mount a flashlight and sling mount on my Mossberg 590 shotgun. I used a 1" scope ring to attach the flashlight to the side rail — no issues are putting the mount onto the gun. Just unscrewed the cap, pulled the barrel up, and slide the mount onto the magazine tube. Once I had it where I wanted, I tightened the two screws, and I'm all set. I will add a bit of thread locker to the screw to be on the safe side.

I bought this for my Remington 870. Works great! Good fit, solid installation. Holds my light well and doesn't allow any movement. Lightweight and well made. I am ordering another one for my FN P-12.
