Great functionality + great design + cool factor.

The benelli m4 shell holder was exactly as advertised, installed perfectly and looks very effective on a platform that usually lacks capacity. The 8 extra shot shells give it a significant boost. The Mesa unit is well-built with quality materials and includes extras like a rubber gasket to reduce vibration and protect the finish, and an adjustable tension stick in case the pre-installed one is too soft. Easy installation, just required grinding down a few mm of thread for some of the pic rail screws on my Benelli M4 barrel, which is a common issue. Overall, highly recommend this side saddle or any other Mesa product and will be purchasing more in the future.

Oh, man!! I just got this the other day and slapped it on my M4. I ran 100 rounds through it today at the range, and it continued to hold the shells correctly in place with the brass down.

Fits perfectly when you use the Benelli screws. Don't use screws included with the package. Order Loctite from Amazon site for a secure longterm fit. Fits better than other plastic side saddles on the market. If at all possible, you never want to replace the m4 pin with a screw, as required by other saddles on the market. Replacing pin will also interfere with long term trigger operations of weapon. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Outstanding l SureShell Carrier and Rail for Benelli M4. Stays in place with no fear of scratching the weapon. The problem related to the screws not being right for the Benelli M4 seems to have been resolved as mine fit tight and hold the mount on the weapon exceptionally well. The mount with eight shells in place does not get in the way of either hand when using the weapon.

If you purchase this item, you should know that ten screws attach the shell holders to the rail itself. I located the rail to the gun but not those ten screws, and after 90 or so rounds, the shell holder was wobbly and becoming detached. My advice: Loctite those screws firmly and not just the rail screws themselves.

A great addition to the Benelli M4. Easy installation, remove the factory rail, and drop this onto the top of the receiver. Aluminum construction adds cost but also increases reliability. The side saddle uses a nylon tube to hold the shells in-place and comes with a replacement tube if the first one wears out. The instruction sheet I received advised taking the shells out of the carrier when not using the weapon, so that might diminish its usefulness for Shotguns that stay loaded. All in all, an excellent addition to the Benelli M4.

The hardest part about installation was removing the old rail screws, which was pretty easy. Holds shells securely without slip.

Quick and easy to install...looks and works like it's original Benelli factory work. Anyone using the M4 for defensive purposes should consider this "essential equipment."

Expensive, but I love it for my Benelli m4...easy to install, looks good, and fits all my buckshot. If you have extra cash to spend after the crazy cost of an m4, you might as well get this too.
