Customer Ratings & Reviews
Weaver Rings
Great quality rings. Use them on everything from a 17 to a 300win mag just plain Awesome. I also use them on a slug gun. They don't come loose once tighten, and they can take some abuse. They are the same rings as the Blackhawk version just a lot cheaper.
Great Rings for Larger Mag Rifles
I have used these before and will again, in both Medium and Hi-Mount, for both 40mm and 50mm scopes, respectively. I particularly like the multiple clamping screws and the wider clamping surface area on the scopes barrel. More screws = less torque required per screw for the same clamping force, which reduces stresses on the scope, and increases consistent accuracy. Good Value as well.
Great sturdy rings
They nicely done scope rings for a reasonable price. Mating surfaces are nice and flat and the 6 hole design locks down really solid. Finish is nice and fasteners seem to be of good quality. They look cool as well if you are into the whole tactical thing. Seem like they would be bombproof. Mounted to a Ruger American predator 6.5 Creedmoor.
Weaver Tactical Ring 30mm Six Hole Low
A while back, I purchased the Weaver Six Hole scope rings. I get a warm feeling every time I lay my eyes on these guys. They fit and look great. However, I didn't purchase these for looks, rather I wanted tactical durability. The Six screw per ring design makes the odds of a loose or broken screw to cause a problem quite remote. These rings are mounted on an AK, and together make for the epitome of durability. One modification I did to the rings was to carve a grove across the end of the rail clamp hex nut to provide a coin tightening ability. The rings are even MORE perfect now. If you are in the market for great rings at a fair price, these rings did it for me.
Weaver Tactical Rings, A Smart Choice
Weaver has produced an over-engineered product for heavy duty use that beats everything I've used in the past. If you have a heavy high magnification scope on a Magnum rifle, then consider these rings. They are very wide and therefore have a larger gripping surface to hold you scope securely with a total of 6 mounting screws per ring. It don't take a rocket scientist to figure out if you shoot a magnum gun that kicks like a mule, this is what you need. NOTE: If you have aluminum bases and your current rings use a round shank cross bolt to clamp the rings to the bases, heavy recoil will eventually damage/deform the cross slots in your bases. Eventually, your scope with start shifting its zero. The Weaver Tactical Rings come with "Square Shanked" mounting bolts. They evenly transmit recoil energy over the entire area of the cross slots on your bases. The majority of companies manufacturing "Weaver Compatible" rings use round cross bolt shanks. Don't buy copycat products with an inferior design. Weaver's Tactical Rings are strong, square shanked, and durable. Weaver put some thought into these rings, the exterior edges have been rounded to avoid snags on web gear or loose fitting clothing. The flat, non-glare finish, ensures you stay hidden when shooting from the shadows. And if that doesn't sell you on these being the best rings on the market, then the fact that they have "Ultra-cool" post apocalyptic industrial lines, reminiscent of something the "Terminator" would have on his weapon, probably will not sway your decision either...
weaver med high 30mm rings
great looking rings have mounted them on my tikka 6.5x55 and there has been no scope movement at all with recoil.the six locking screws all tighten down nice and evenly and there is no distortion on the scope would buy another set with out hesitation for the money they cost.
Good Tactical Scope Rings
I have used 4 sets of these scope rings on different riles ranging from a 5.56mm to a 300 win mag, and they are in my opinion, one of the best values out there. I have yet to have any problems with them once they were installed. One thing to note is they do need to be lapped, but they are not near as bad as other higher priced rings. Overall I think these are a great buy.
Weaver tactical XX High rings
If your looking for a set of tactical scope rings for you AR platform and are running a 40mm or 42mm lens on your scope then these will work. I don't know about 50mm but I have plenty of clearance. For the price, you can't go wrong with these.
Excellent tactical scope rings
Excellent tactical scope rings made well. Just mounted scope to rifle with Weaver 1 piece base, and had minimal issues...my issues not having a proper workbench, and vise LOL It did take a bit more time than four-hole rings to get the locktite on and get them in the holes. I liked the star Allen wrench, not a cheapo regular Allen wrench that barely fits. I went with aluminum because the base is also an alum. Never want to mix steel with aluminum when mounting optics...the different metals expand and contract differently, and could cause some problems. Highly recommend
Solid Scope Rings
I purchased these weaver 30mm tactical rings for a 6.5 Creedmoor build that I had ordered. I have been delighted with the rings. They hold the scope securely and don't seem to slip. I could have spent a lot more on rings for this gun, and I don't think I would have seen a significant improvement in performance.
Weaver 30mm Rings work just fine
I have been buying a different brand of scope rings for several years, but the price of this Weaver product made me think they worth a try. I was happy to find they seem tough; quality seems good. If you want to switch to a Picatinny Rail base and are looking for decent 30mm Rings with more than one screws per side, these seem to work just fine, and won't bust your budget. Thanks, Mountsplus, for carrying decent products at excellent prices.
